Question:	Basket will not stay locked when lifting food from the fryer. Any fixes for this issue
Answer:	Remove the basket and look at the hook. Push your button and see if the hook moves in and out If not contact Bella and they will replace your air fryer free of charge. My son had an issue and contacted them and they replaced his for free. I hope this helped. Joe B.
Question:	Is it basically a convection oven
Answer:	I'm going to answer yes to this question. It is basically the old electric stove coil with a little fan to blow and circulate the hot air. I love it because now I don't use any oil for French fries or crispy crown potatoes. My wife loves it for corn on the cob 8-10 minutes pre seasoned the way you like it first, then set it for 10 minutes then Yummo! My fav is small chicken breast already marinated from the store, at 180° for 20 minutes and it remains juicy. I hope I helped. Joe B.
Question:	Why does it keep shutting off during cooking
Answer:	It doesn't actually shut off. It's an air fryer so when it reaches the desired temperature the air stops to keep the food from over cooking. When the temperature starts to drop, the air begins again to keep the desired temperature.
Question:	I see mixed reviews about a smell issue, is this the general experience
Answer:	I just got mine a couple days ago and there was a smell but here is what I did: 1. Washed basket and drawer in hot soapy water and dry, but also wipe the unit (inside and out) with a slightly damp cloth and wait an hour to dry 2. Set it on max (400) and left for about 25 minutes (started to smell after about 6 minutes). 3. After timer was up, I let it cool down for 10 min and I did it again for another 25 minutes. 4. I repeated Step 2 another 2 times but this time I only ran it maybe 15 minutes each time. The smell was just about gone at this point. 5. I let it cool overnight since I wasn't going to use it until the following day 6. About an hour before using it, I rinsed the basket and wiped the inside (maybe I'm too paranoid? haha) 7. I ran it again for about 10 minutes as another check and I did not notice any smell so I decided to make my first batch of fries that came out great!

Answer:	Just received mine BS color and item measurements are: L to R (measuring front door) 16", top to bottom 13", back to front 13" (14" counting door handle). And the weight is around 20 lbs. Measurements on the Cuisinart site for this color are the same (wrong) - so I think that is where they got the wrong measurements from. It comes in a larger box (to fit the foam around the fryer for packaging) so the measurements listed are close the box measurements. So that might be the "wrong"measurements

Answer:	Although most digital appliances will convert from Fahrenheit to Celsius or vice versa, older appliances won't. Following is a bit of help to convert temperatures in recipes or when using appliances that don't convert. You can make a chart for temperatures you use frequently, so you don't have to convert all the time. To convert Fahrenheit to Celcius: ((Fahrenheit temp - 32) x 5) / 9 = Celsius temp. Example ((212 - 32) x 5) / 9 = 100 To convert Celsius to Fahrenheit: ((Celsius temp x 9) / 5) + 32 = Fahrenheit temp. Answer:	I am not sure what a rotisserie basket is. BThis unit came with a rotisserie skewer (to hold a chicken) and a French fries basket.

It is really frustrating for those of us who are trying to figure out whether or not this will fit under overhanging cupboards or on our countertops!
