Answer:	This is a binaural headset (both ears) but without stereo sound. It's not ideal for entertainment use.

Answer:	If you can't find the answer on the Plantronics website I would call them. This model is specifically designed to work w/ MS Lync (now Skype for business). There is another model that isn't specifically designed to work w/ MS. IIRC Plantronics lists on their website which softphones are compatible w/ their headsets. Mine works w/ the Ring Central softphone but I don't know about the five9 softphone.

Answer:	Yes it will. I use my headset for VOIP calls. I have a Skype number and use the headset and my keyboard has a home phone. Can't beat $40.00 a year for a home phone number for unlimited U.S. and Canada calls. Skype to Skype calls is always free all over the globe
