Answer:	My son dried canned chicken for hiking/camping, and it turned out great. Also, he did sauces on the solid trays for meals when camping/hiking. Myself, I've done venison and spam. For raw pork and chicken, I'd think you'd want to use a ''cure'' to preserve it better, but I'm not sure on that. Do a google search.

Answer:	My best guess is yes. I didn’t know what a Mealthy lid was. After I looked it up, it seems to sit on top of a 6 or 8 qt. Pressure cooker. The rack fits perfectly, with some room to spare, in my 6 qt. Instapot.
