Answer:	I don't see a significant difference. The TL86597 has a indicator on the front to let you the status. One not the TL86597 does state do not use with surge protector. The surge protector interferes with the signal. So if you use power strips and have issues you may want to remove them.

Answer:	No. The unit works on 110 vac, using radio frequency to transmit/receive on the house wiring. The unit consumes very little power.

Answer:	you need this device if your phone service is one pert of the house and you can't run wires to another part where you'd also like service. You need phone jacks to plug into this, one on each end. If your phone service provides a phone jack that allows you to plug a handset or fax machine into it, then this should work.

Answer:	We have not had an outage since I have owned this, but since it is a land-line phone I assume the phone will work on the old type phone lines, but maybe not the answering unit. (This is why some keep a landline phone for another kind of security.) I am definitely not a techie so double check this.

Answer:	The remote handset no but has speaker phone. The base has the plug in handset which can be removed so I am assuming a headset jack that can answer and hang up the phone may work

Answer:	A phone is a phone, doesn't matter who your landline service is. Even a home VOIP service from a cable company transforms to analog in the home. The only phone system this wouldn't work with is a digital PBX system used in businesses. Those use specific IP phones.

Answer:	Yes this works without batteries and with out external electricity source when plugged into a traditional telephone landline service. Digital Phone like xfinity or At&t U-Verse may not work in a power outage because the phone line will be powered by a cable modem/router which gets it's power from your 120vac wall outlet. I bought a UPS battery backup formy cable modem and PC so they stay powered on for up to 60 min on a power outage. Assuming the cable provider still has electricity and their servers and internet don't go down, you should still have phone service. Even cellular companies can lose electricity causing an phone outage. Historically Old fashioned landline has been the most reliable in power outages.

Answer:	I am sorry, but I do not know if they are hollow ground. I do know that I have been using these on my Winchester 1873 lever action and they have been great. The set offers such a variety in sizes that they fit every screw head that needs to be fit. They seem to be well made and have held up very well. They are flat as they should be to hold the full screw surface and not tapered like typical craftsman screw drivers, for example. In that way, they fit into the screw groove and hold very securely.

Answer:	I purchased a new set of these phones to replace a worn out 10 year old Panasonic set. I did notice the batteries needed to be fully charged 3 or 4 times before reaching max talk time. After a week or so on my desk ( and FULLY charging the batteries every other day) the phones now hold a charge quite well. These phones also provide an audible prompt when the battery level is low. I feel the batteries need to be 'conditioned' with repeated LOW BATTERY and FULLY CHARGED cycles before holding the longer charges. After a month or so of daily use I'm well satisfied with this set.

Answer:	No, there is not any bits in this set for your needs for the shotgun. Yes, I believe any bits needed for a scope mount will be in this set.

But the old Eastman had a one piece handle and head and it’s stood up to frame to finish abuse and precision. So is Wheeler a good brand and worth the money? Yes, I own three sets of them, I even bought three other sets as gifts to my friends for their enjoyment. Now I like snap on too but not for gun work. Brownells has great stuff too. But I work with tools like a person builds a stone wall, I puzzle fit my stones and tools to the job I’m doing. Eye candy collections of tools don’t get your work done. But knowing what fits and is useful for the cost of the project makes sense to me. Names are not always representative of the products actual usefulness or value. I have bought cheep tools to pound away at crap projects to avoid bunging up my nice tools. Function is important. Reality of screw bit kits is you likely will grind a few bits to fit the screw slots perfectly as possible. And if you do a verity of work you will need more bits and sizes Also bits wear, especially if you miss use them. No bit should be expected to hold up to way more than what force was needed to install the fastener. If this is required you likely need a different approach.
