Answer:	Horizontal. The kabobs are not the easiest thing to assemble on this machine. In fact it’s quite cumbersome. But it did cook them really good & fast.

Answer:	for those of you struggling with the plastic smell...Trust me put vinegar and lemon juice in a oven safe bowl run on 370-400 degrees for 10 minutes, do a few times if needed. Then put just water in the bowl run for 10 minutes or more and the smell goes away guys. I was frustrated too but this works!!!! It works awesome great product!
Question:	How does the dehydrator function work? Has anyone tried it yet
Answer:	I tried to use it for thin sliced pineapple, and after 10 hours at 125 degres, it came out just the way it went in... the top rack is drier than the other racks though. I put the bottom rack up and top rack down and tried for 10 more hours. So far, I'm not really impressed.
Question:	What's the difference between the 6qt and 8qt
Answer:	According to the information provided with each - the 6QT is 1700 watts, and the 8QT is only 1500 watts.. Big difference in heating capacity!!

Answer:	A: I agree, there should be a better explanation of what the size is. From looking at the pic, I assume the face of the unit is the largest number for the width and the smallest number for the height. Then the depth is the middle number. With that it should fit under top cabinets that are normally 18” above the countertop. I’m trying to fit it in a certain spot, so these measurements are important. A picture with the measurements superimposed would be helpful or noted as such (19.3” wide x 10” high x 15” deep)

Answer:	The description is listing the shipping box dimensions:23 x 17.5 x 13.5 inches and the exterior dimensions: 19x15x9.5 inches. The interior dimensions are approx: 12.5x11x5.75 inches of usable space (you have to allow for the heating elements at the bottom and top). It will accommodate one of those aluminum half pans that caterers use over warmers if you use the edges of the pan to slide into the grooves where the racks and baskets go. If you just put it on the rack, you have to bend the aluminum pan slightly inward at each end. I just measured mine because I need to find another small dutch oven to slow cook in it.

Question:	Has anyone had problems witj the wire shelves not holding securely? Mine will fall down if any movement happens
Answer:	I found a solution for the wire rack issue. At the locations where the wire shelf sits on support ledge, bend up the shelf a bit where the vertical and horizontal transition occurs (the edge of the trayed area). This will push the sides and back out a bit making the shelf a little wider and more rigid.

Answer:	As soon as you start the video, however, the title underneath says 11.6. Do the math. Internal dimensions are 10.5"(L) x 9.5"(W) x 7.25"(H). This equals 723 cubic inches. Use google convert. Answer:	Yes, it does. I cooked 12 huge burgers in 30 minutes all at once. They didn't shrink either. Tasted delicious.

Answer:	It would be good for the manufaturer to chime in and clarify things. However, if you look carefully at the specs and crank the numbers for the internal dimensions 10.5 x 9.5 x 7.25 ~=~ 723.19 cu in / 61.024 liters per cu in >~=~> 11.8 liters, and a liter is larger than a quart, so the stated 11.6 quart is in the ball park. I think the 6 quart capacity they talk about in the video may be that of the rotisserie basket ( as stated in the specs) ( or, as stated in one of the other answers, for a smaller capacity model )

Answer:	I would not recommend using this crisper with a broiler. It was designed to work in an oven, where heated oven air is allowed to flow above and below the crisper basket. If you do place this in a broiler, I recommend checking the food every few minutes to prevent burning on the top. No, I would use this product in a conventional oven, either gas or electric, and at temperatures of 400F or lower.

Answer:	These are available in 3 sizes. However, On the Model #1683, the XXL size, the tray on this crisper is a full 16.5” X 12.5”. Question:	Can i make french fries using raw potatoes? how long should i cook them? at what temperature
Answer:	I have not French fries, but have cooked some potato wedges very nicely. I cooked them at 375 for 30 minutes. Next time I do think I will coat them with some olive oil before cooking, but they did turn out very nicely, an kept well when I reheated the left-overs. Hope this helps. One reason to coat the wedges with oil before cooking is to help them hold the spices I would like to use.

The machine works awesome, but I feel short-changed by receiving only one standard and one deep mesh tray per item, instead of the additional 2 standard mesh trays per machine that I expected to receive with initial delivery.

Answer:	Although most digital appliances will convert from Fahrenheit to Celsius or vice versa, older appliances won't. Following is a bit of help to convert temperatures in recipes or when using appliances that don't convert. You can make a chart for temperatures you use frequently, so you don't have to convert all the time. To convert Fahrenheit to Celcius: ((Fahrenheit temp - 32) x 5) / 9 = Celsius temp. Example ((212 - 32) x 5) / 9 = 100 To convert Celsius to Fahrenheit: ((Celsius temp x 9) / 5) + 32 = Fahrenheit temp. Answer:	I am not sure what a rotisserie basket is. BThis unit came with a rotisserie skewer (to hold a chicken) and a French fries basket.
