Answer:	It's not a button. When you twist the lid on; you just twist it a little further to chop. But no you cant turn it on and walk away, you have to hold it until it's done. It's chops super fast though and I'm pretty sure that's a safety feature.

If you constantly hold the button down and not let up here and there, you will puree anything. A little zing puts the chunk into the chopper.

Answer:	It means one and 1/2 cup though a tight 1 and 1/2 cup. I usually get about 3/4 cup and don't fill all the way. It's a handy food chopper though. Great for humus and salsa and chopping veggies.

Answer:	Hello,I highly recommend that you do not spray it in between coats. It won't leave an oily residue but it will make your nail polish extremely tacky. I usually just wait about 3 minutes in between coats then apply the quick dry spray after my top coat has been applied. If you're looking for s polish that dries quickly and last long I highly recommend sally hansen extreme wear. It goes for about $3 a bottle, dries in about 10 minutes and last for a week. Answer:	Yes it is very easy to clean. The reservoir alone with the heating element lifts out of the unit, that makes it a snape clean.

Answer:	The filter is a built in wire mesh type and doesn't need to be replaced as far as I can tell. The only part that may need to be replaced at some point is the rubber seal around it. Hope that helps. I've been using mine for a few months and absolutely love it. The best part of this fryer is the filter system and how you can drain your oil and store it in the plastic container until you need it again. It makes for cleaning and replacing the oil a breeze.
Question:	Can you leave the plastic oil container in while frying
Answer:	Yes - The 'fry" switch keeps the hot oil separated from the plastic oil storage container while frying. Once the oil has cooled, the switch is turned to drain and it flows into the storage container.

Answer:	There is no convenient spout to drain the oil. In fact you first have to remove the immersion heating assembly by lifting it up and out, then lift out the removable pot containing the oil from the outer housing to be able to pour the oil out.

Answer:	I would disagree. I've used solid fats in every deep fryer I've ever owned (both lard and shortening). After they melt, they're synonymous with oil. Cleaning the unit after it has cooled is a different matter, but the solution is simply to pour the liquified fat into a separate container before it solidifies.

Answer:	The diameter of the fryer is about 8". I did a little research and found this item on Amazon. I think I will order both. Answer:	Fill unit with cooking oil or shortening up to oil level line, which is located on inside of unit. Never use more than six, 8-ounce cups of cooking oil or 3 pounds of shortening. Gently place 1 to 6 cups of food into unit. Use scoop to lessen spattering of hot oil. Question:	Does the outside of the unit get very hot to touch ( is it safe to touch the outside ) when the oil heated and cooking
Answer:	When the unit is heating up it is too hot to touch, but that's completely understandable since it works so well. I heat it up, use it, then let it cool down before putting the top cover on before I put it away for storage. Again, this is the best kitchen appliance I have ever used!
Question:	How much bigger is it than the Daddy presto
Answer:	It is significantly bigger! I own both and usually use the GranPappy unless cooking for just myself. I fry a lot of fish and it is much quicker to fry up a batch using the GanPappy. It does not take that much more oil (20%)...
