Answer:	You need a Buffet Warmer under 1000 Watts! This could be a Fire Hazard - its a hot plate for cooking, folks dont list these correct - Suggest a flat surface unit and Low Wattage. - the higher the Watts, the Hotter the surface gets. You definitely done need a 110 plug for candle wax. Be safe z. Look at the Ceramic Heat elements they are less expensive - around $11 - $14.00

Answer:	Doesn't matter it is made very well! I used it for canning garden vegetables outdoors and it did excellent job with about 30 lbs on it. Metal is strong and easy to clean...highly recommended

Answer:	I use this for homebrewing and bring 5 gallons to a boil and hold it for 90 minutes (no bypassing anything). It does however take about 45 minutes to get it there, with a lid on the pot(that definitely helps).

Question:	Wanting to get for my husband who drives a semi. Need to know how many amps it pulls? the plugs in his truck are only 10 amp
Answer:	Cars and trucks are on a 12 Volt system and your house is on a 120 Volt system. 8 amps on 12 Volts is only 96 Watts. 8 amps in your home is 960 Watts. The highest amp fuse on a vehicle that I have ever seen is 30 amps. That's less than 300 watts of electricity, not enough to run a hotplate. 10 amps on a vehicle would be totally inadequate.I'm not familiar with Semi's. I'm guessing they are also on a 12 Volt system.
Question:	Can this get water to a full boiling point
Answer:	It does not. About 3 quarts of water will get hot, but the thermostat will automatically make it shut off just before boiling point. I know because I tried to get it to boil for 3 hours.
