Answer:	The opening wheel (not really a blade) does NOT touch the contents in the can. It only contacts the outside edge of the can rim. So the food is not contaminated. Sometimes, some of the food leaks out and gets of the wheel. I use a small brush dipped in warm dish water to clean the wheel. A tooth brush works great.

Answer:	Imagine getting something at the store where the package is hard plastic. You run to get scissors to cut through the package but with some effort, you still can't stretch it open without cutting further.. You then cut through horizontally from one end to the other and are trying to pry open the packaging and you cut yourself with a fountain of blood flowing out of your cut fingers. Still not frustrated?"Frustration-Free Packaging" is VERY straightforward packaging which makes opening said product(s) VERY seamless, is friendly to the environment by being recyclable, and is simply a no-brainer to open. This type of packaging comes cheaper because it is usually cheaper to manufacture a simple cardboard box/envelope (ordered in volume) versus the annoying plastic packaging or needlessly involved boxes that serve no useful function (i.e. complicated designs come at a cost).Some personal opinions:- I choose frustration-free regardless of price because of the ease of use when it comes to opening the items.- They're in some cases more reliable than the manufacturer's packaging being crammed into a box with bags of air and wiggle room in part due to shock sensitivity.- I've been cut before trying to open retail-packaged, clamshell packaging (the plastic that usually gets cut with scissors). Question:	Is the connection between the blade and blender, metal on metal? My last one was plastic and it ended up getting messed up so it wouldn't blend
Answer:	The connection is metal, then a bushing that seems to be made of neoprene or a similar substance. Next is a stainless washer and then the plastic. I use mine pretty much daily and this is the best and most durable blender I have found. I hope this helps.

Answer:	YES, it says GLASS for both. That is why I ordered it. My chopper jar is NOT glass :( :(

Answer:	This thing SUCKS !!! It is the absolute most useless grinder on the planet. We bought two...both broke after a few days (which means use of 2-3 times). Which is a shame as another model we have owned for +5 years. DO NOT BUY this. You will waste your money...and we have yet to be refunded. You would literally get more bang for your buck and more use by using the money you would pay for one of these, setting it in a pile, lighting it on fire, and watching it burn in front you.
