Answer: No, it CANNOT be used on induction cooktops. Rachael Ray has basically three types of cookware. Stainless steel (including colored stainless), Hard Anodized II and Porcelain Enamel II. Only the stainless steel sets will work on induction. Both the Hard Anodized II and the Porcelain Enamel II have an aluminum base construction which will NOT work on induction. My local Macy's store sells the full line of Rachael Ray cookware. I took a strong magnet to the store with me and tried it on multiple sets of cookware in order to find a large non-stick stockpot that would work on induction. Although I knew the magnet would not work on the Rachael Ray non-stick but I tried it anyway and sure enough it would not stick to any of her non-stick cookware. The magnet worked well on her stainless set.

Answer: If you look on Rachel Ray's official website it says it is manufactured in Thailand. I am very disappointing in the product and the false guarantee. I used my set for about six months and the exterior enamel became discolored and the inside finish started to to chip, peel, and come off. I sent a couple of the really bad pieces back to Meyer Corporation and they did not replace them nor honor the warrantee. They said that I had used too high of a heat and that I used the improper utensils. I used medium to low heat because I have a gas stove and I bought and used Rachel Rays nylon cooking utensils. I am a senior citizen and have had many types of cookware over the years; many coated with Teflon and other non-stick products. I had never had this happen before. I can't afford to be buying cookware every 6 months. So, I will never buy anything distributed by Meyer Corporation and I hope Rachel Ray is aware of this so that her reputation is not tarnished by such bad products which bear her name.
