Answer:	-10C is at 13F needs to go CW to 14F, 0C off by 1F needs CW to 32F, BUT 10C is almost spot on at 50F, 20C falls a bit short of 68F. Or if you're European or like metric system the Fahrenheit scale is the wrong one. Looks like art work is not so good and all people on this product team failed elementary grade science!

Answer:	The 6 inch measurement is for the display card it is attached to. This is typical for Amazon descriptions for items of this kind. As stated in other answers, the thermometer itself is 3.5 inches tall

Answer:	The only way to make sure a thermometer is accurate is to calibrate it. This is done by boiling water and using the thermometer to test the water. If the thing reads 121 degrees, it is accurate. If not, then it needs to be calibrated...that is, the dial needs to be rotated in relation to the dial so it reads 212 degrees. From what I see, most dial type oven thermometers are no longer manufactered with a small nut on the back to allow calibration. Find an old one at a yeard sale and you might be able to.

Question:	I have set the alarm for a max of 10 and a min of 10 but the alarm goes off at a 50 degree change. What am i missing
Answer:	If I understand you; you have no temp difference in alarms. I have found a tremendous swing in actual temps as the unit kicks on and off. My fridge can swing from 40 to 50 and you will see that in the high and low readings. My freezer even more; -10 to 30 above. These swings are not very long in time; just temp drops when compressor isn't running. So, note these swings and then set your alarms accordingly. Set the Low Alarm to just below the lowest recorded temp and the High Alarm just above the recorded temp. I recommend 5 degrees each way. Now, you will be "Alarmed" when these thresholds are exceeded.
Question:	Can you set alarm for humidity levels
Answer:	I think it only alarms for max & min temperatures.

Answer:	No, but should be fine. I use one in the freezer section and the refrigerator section. Even with the higher temperatures for a wine fridge you will be fine.

Question:	I purchased 2 of these in february 2017. one still working but i think the other needs new battery. i can't get the old one out. any suggestions
Answer:	After you remove the 4 screws at the corners of the back, remove the back. The battery is then held in a circular socket, with a snap latch on one side. Turn the unit upside down and push the snap latch to the side. I used a letter opener to press the snap latch away and the battery fell out. Be careful not to damage the wire to the temperature probe (the 5/32-inch diameter metal pad near the foot/hook).

Answer:	No it did not and shortly after purchase while in use, it stopped working. Perhaps the battery needs replacement, but honestly it looks like I need to unscrew the time screw to open and change battery and I haven't done that and I'm actually not sure if that's the issue.

Answer:	I don't see why that wouldn't work - just watch the distance between base and sensors. I'm only using one sensor right now that is inside my freezer a floor below the base station. No problems - it tracks current, min & max temps and is easy to clear and restart.

Answer:	NOTE: My answer is for "ORIA Refrigerator Thermometer, Wireless Digital Freezer Thermometer with 2 Wireless Sensors" NOT the MINI Freezer Thermometer. This is a black/grey LCD display (no backlight) Batteries should last about a year. The Display uses 2 AAA batteries and each sensor unit uses 2 AA batteries (Total of 6 batteries required). If a sensor battery dies, the display will show "--- " for the temperature for that sensor. When the display batteries need replacing, the display will begin to fade and become hard to read. I recommend replacing ALL of the batteries at the same time for best performance.

Answer:	Package claims it is good for 100 meters unobstructed - but it's inside a freezer, so obviously it's obstructed. I thought it was working but discovered the freezer had quit and the unit, which was about 30' from the freezer, hadn't picked up a signal for a couple of days, probably - it was still reporting the temp at 4 F and the actual temp was 35 F. Worse than nothing because I thought it was okay. Base unit should be designed to alert if it hasn't picked up a signal within the previous 2 hours. . .

Answer:	Hi Rochelle, I don't use my thermostat on the outside of the refrigerator so I can't answer your question about how well the magnet works. My refrigerator doesn't have any metal on the inside but the device has a small hook that you can hang on a metal shelf or it also has a small easel stand that I use to just sit it upright on a shelf. I highly recommend this well priced good quality and easy to use thermometer.

Answer:	I bought 6 of these for our restaurant's coolers so we could be more proactive in keeping our food safe. Before I placed them in the coolers, I wanted to see how close they read to each other. I placed them on a shelf in my office and let them sit for 48 hours. There was a 6F difference between the high reading one and the low reading one and only two that were within a degree of each other. Well, decided to check them against a known standard, that being melting ice which is exactly 32F. Again, the wide spread in temperatures and not a ONE of them read 32F..... Not so good.. Tried the Wrenware site and my browser damn near locked up and sirens went off warning the site was a hazard to visit! They now sit on my desk waiting for me to dispose of them. A reminder....

Answer:	How do you know it's way off? Usually the refrigerator is inconsistent in its cooling. If the door is opened often the thermometer will vary as it can't respond to changes that quickly!

Answer:	We used this in our refer and I didn't think it was very accurate. Generally if you put it in a refer that is already cold it should take less then an hour to stabilize the thermometer.

Question:	When fridge/freezer goes out of temp setting does alarm keep sounding until acknowledged
Answer:	When the alarm goes off, it gets annoying after awhile, so we have pressed the alarm button within 5 minutes to turn it off. I'm pretty sure it will sound until the temperature has returned within the set range or is turned off. Just be sure to press the alarm button again when the temperature is within the range you set, to reactivate the alarm mode.
Question:	What is the wireless range on this item
Answer:	I have mine set about 40 and 50 ft from receiver, both of which are transmitting through one exterior wall and 1 or 2 interior framed walls, with the receiver near mid point, and no problems after a couple of months. As others stated, the update is not immediate, so give it a while for the initial reading. Also, if you move the sensors, I found it helpful to take the batteries out of everything and start again - only takes a couple of minutes and gives some peace of mind. I think without heavily insulated walls, the range is probably more but have no proof.
Question:	What kind of recording capabilities does it have? I need to know how warm freezer became to avoid refreezing, when I am elsewhere
Answer:	it just lets you set an alarm to what ever temp you want to know I don't see a recording of it if I come by later. the best thing on the freezer is a glass of ice cubes in the freezer, it they ever turn to a block your freezer went hot for too long. that's the best and cheapest way I know.

Answer:	The correct reply is Yes, the display and the Sensor are "paired" like Blue Tooth devices. BUT, now for the bad news. Each time you replace the battery in ANY part of the system you need to perform the operation of "pairing" over again!!!Steps:1) Take all three parts, Display and both sensors and go away from the "other" sensors.2) Put fresh a battery in the Display and watch for NO Updates, takes a few moments to verify.3) Put a battery in each the sensors and watch for the "First" update to be correct.4) Leave these batteries in and walk back to the location needed.Now the new set will have a unique code and not read the "other" sensors values.The code is 32,000 values so yoiu can have MANY of these in the same place.NOTE: if you want a "copy" to be seen by Two Displays just PAIR both at the same place and time. They "Learn" from the first data point.
