Question:	When fridge/freezer goes out of temp setting does alarm keep sounding until acknowledged
Answer:	When the alarm goes off, it gets annoying after awhile, so we have pressed the alarm button within 5 minutes to turn it off. I'm pretty sure it will sound until the temperature has returned within the set range or is turned off. Just be sure to press the alarm button again when the temperature is within the range you set, to reactivate the alarm mode.
Question:	What is the wireless range on this item
Answer:	I have mine set about 40 and 50 ft from receiver, both of which are transmitting through one exterior wall and 1 or 2 interior framed walls, with the receiver near mid point, and no problems after a couple of months. As others stated, the update is not immediate, so give it a while for the initial reading. Also, if you move the sensors, I found it helpful to take the batteries out of everything and start again - only takes a couple of minutes and gives some peace of mind. I think without heavily insulated walls, the range is probably more but have no proof.

Answer:	it just lets you set an alarm to what ever temp you want to know I don't see a recording of it if I come by later. the best thing on the freezer is a glass of ice cubes in the freezer, it they ever turn to a block your freezer went hot for too long. that's the best and cheapest way I know.

Answer:	The correct reply is Yes, the display and the Sensor are "paired" like Blue Tooth devices. BUT, now for the bad news. Each time you replace the battery in ANY part of the system you need to perform the operation of "pairing" over again!!!Steps:1) Take all three parts, Display and both sensors and go away from the "other" sensors.2) Put fresh a battery in the Display and watch for NO Updates, takes a few moments to verify.3) Put a battery in each the sensors and watch for the "First" update to be correct.4) Leave these batteries in and walk back to the location needed.Now the new set will have a unique code and not read the "other" sensors values.The code is 32,000 values so yoiu can have MANY of these in the same place.NOTE: if you want a "copy" to be seen by Two Displays just PAIR both at the same place and time. They "Learn" from the first data point.

Answer:	you put a thermometer designed for oven in the oven

Answer:	What I can tell you is that can be done "reasonably well" they are only like 1"-11/2" diameter and not as precise as something digital. It would work best for it's purpose. A walkin cooler, or freezer . Mine works great.

When I received my 6 for my 2 refrigerators and 1 freezer, I set them on the table and when they reached my room temperature that matched my heat/cool register, I then placed them in the refrigerator and freezer. Try it on your table and see if it matches your house temperature. If it does match, then there might be something wrong with your refrigerator. If it does not match, then return them.

Answer:	The "outside" temp is the temp where the display is placed from a sensor on it. Temp 1 is for sensor 1. Temp 2 is for sensor 2.

Answer:	The base unit (or host unit, which is the box with the LCD screen) also has a temperature sensor. It's range is 14 F to 140 F since it is for the Inside. The other two sensors, which are wireless, have a range of -40 F to 140 F and can handle refrigerator/freezer applications, or for outdoor use.

Answer:	Press and hold alarm sensor 1 button a few seconds the max temp will start flashing on the right side use the plus or minus buttons to reach your desired temp. press again and min temp. will start flashing and adjust as before with + or - and its set. It will return to the reg. temp. Repeat for Alarm sensor 2. The max and min temps. that remain are the highest and lowest temps. reached while monitoring the until its cleared. Does not clear your set temps. You can adjust set temps. the same as setting.

Answer:	-10C is at 13F needs to go CW to 14F, 0C off by 1F needs CW to 32F, BUT 10C is almost spot on at 50F, 20C falls a bit short of 68F. Or if you're European or like metric system the Fahrenheit scale is the wrong one. Looks like art work is not so good and all people on this product team failed elementary grade science!

Answer:	The 6 inch measurement is for the display card it is attached to. This is typical for Amazon descriptions for items of this kind. As stated in other answers, the thermometer itself is 3.5 inches tall
Question:	how accurate is the thermometer? I've used one of these types before in my breville and it gave the wrong temperature of the inside of the oven
Answer:	The only way to make sure a thermometer is accurate is to calibrate it. This is done by boiling water and using the thermometer to test the water. If the thing reads 121 degrees, it is accurate. If not, then it needs to be calibrated...that is, the dial needs to be rotated in relation to the dial so it reads 212 degrees. From what I see, most dial type oven thermometers are no longer manufactered with a small nut on the back to allow calibration. Find an old one at a yeard sale and you might be able to.

Answer:	I would say they are strong enough to hold paperbacks. I’m surprised by how sturdy it is.
Question:	Do they work indide a chest freezer
Answer:	I would not recommend this item for very heavy products. The bottom tier may be able to hold some weight, but not the other tiers. It's ideal for light weight items like rolls of toilet paper, small bars of soap, toothpaste and toothbrushes, diapers, snacks, etc. I have observed that, once heavy objects are stored in it, the shelves distort and tilt forward, causing the contents to fall out. It may be able to fit two or three bottles of cleaning products in the bottom tier, but I wouldn't recommend anything heavier than say 2 flashlights in any one of the upper tiers.

Answer:	No, but should be fine. I use one in the freezer section and the refrigerator section. Even with the higher temperatures for a wine fridge you will be fine.

Question:	I purchased 2 of these in february 2017. one still working but i think the other needs new battery. i can't get the old one out. any suggestions
Answer:	After you remove the 4 screws at the corners of the back, remove the back. The battery is then held in a circular socket, with a snap latch on one side. Turn the unit upside down and push the snap latch to the side. I used a letter opener to press the snap latch away and the battery fell out. Be careful not to damage the wire to the temperature probe (the 5/32-inch diameter metal pad near the foot/hook).
Question:	Does the thermometer record the time the thermometer registered the minimum or maximum temperature
Answer:	No it did not and shortly after purchase while in use, it stopped working. Perhaps the battery needs replacement, but honestly it looks like I need to unscrew the time screw to open and change battery and I haven't done that and I'm actually not sure if that's the issue.
