Question:	Is the fermenter's lid supposed to come with a gasket? I just received mine and it did not have one and when I put the lid on to rinse it it leaked
Answer:	It's not supposed to seal. The top of the keg has notches in it to allow it to breathe during the fermentation process. This is why it must be carbonated in the bottles 
Question:	What the percentage of alcohol in the beer? and how can we control it
Answer:	The sugar content and the potential of the yeast determine the potential alcohol percentage. Beyond that, my husband is the brew-meister. I know he's made some that approached 15-16%.
Question:	Can you make the brew start to finish with everything included in this kit? or are there numerous items you must also buy to make the beer? if so what
Answer:	Aimee,You can make a brew from start to finish. In fact, you make 2 with this kit. However, I would gather $10 or so and get a hydrometer to measure specific gravity before and after fermentation to verify alcohol content and if fermentation is complete. You don't have to because this kit includes "Hopped Extract" which means that you don't need to add any Hops to your brew, they did it for you. It is completely ready to go and the results should be the same every time you make a batch. They take all the science out of the process by pre-hopping the extract. Last note: My friends love the Aztec and Bohemian extracts that came with my kit. I have now moved onto All-Grain brewing with the occasional non-hopped extract brew.Good book to read is "How to brew" by Palmer. Hope that helps!
Question:	What is the difference of the premium gold edition from the brewmasters edition? Besides the hat, glasses, and the shirt that won't fit
Answer:	The brewmasters kit comes with craft beer refills and the premium gold comes with standard beer refills. Craft beers are more like your microbrew beers, and standard beers would be more like your Miller, and Coors beers. The craft beers cost a little more. If you go to the Mr. beer website they will have more details. If you are just wanting to see if you are interested in the process of making your own beer I would go with the cheaper premium gold edition if you don't want the extra stuff, then if you like making your own beer you can order the craft refills. Answer:	This is true as far as I have been told. Picopaks are going to become, or are already unavailable. You may however do a manual brew, using recipes for 2 - 2 1/2 gallon batches quite successfully. You should get your grain fir brewing from a home brew supply store.
Question:	What is the consequence of using tap water in the PicoPro
Answer:	The steam generator should use distilled water to avoid mineral build up. For actually brewing, you can use tap water just fine.
Question:	Can you bottle ths beer when complete instead of the keg to make it last longer
Answer:	Yes, I bought the bottle kit which contains five reusable 1 L bottles and filling device. About $35. Plastic reusable bottles are also available online.
Question:	what is the difference between pro and the c system
Answer:	The Pro comes with a system that allows you to tap directly from a keg. The beer is pushed by CO2, just like draught, from a mini line tap (like a keg tap at a picnic). However, consider that you will need to buy 74g CO2 cartridges, which can get expensive. The Pico C puts the beer in a keg which is carbonated by a 16 gram CO2 cartridge but is ultimately gravity fed. The Pico Pro allows the beer to stay carbonated as long as you keep the CO2 on it - the Pico C gravity fed will only stay carbonated for about 4-5 days after you tap the keg. On the other hand, the keg is only the equivilant of about 10 tall cans of beer, so I find I am done the keg well before the carbonation runs out. The Pico pro comes with really well made kegs that are very easy to use. The Pico C kegs will be a bit different design (I have not used one but I have some on order) - you will be able to put them in the dishwasher to clean, which is convenient. The Pico Pro has a larger display, which gives you info during the brew process and on screen instructions to give you reminders about how to use it properly. The Pico C will have a smaller display - I don't know how different it will be though - you'd have to ask Picobrew. So, if you want to make great beer I would get the Pico C but if you want to make great beer and have all the toys I would get the Pico Pro (by the way they have the best, most responsive customer support I've ever dealt with- they will help you with anything - sometimes 5 minutes after you e-mailed them!). Either way, I can tell you that after about 30 brews I haven't had a bad one yet - the beer is so fresh and excellent- my wife and friends love it too! The ability to design your own beers with the Freestyle Picopaks is awesome! If you have never brewed before you will love this machine or even if you are experienced and used to design and brew your own all grain beers (like me) you will still love this machine!

Push Button Brewing with Automated Temperature Control

The BeerDroid is set up for Push Button Brewing. Simply add water, your brewing ingredients and you can start your brew from the BrewArt app or on the BeerDroid. The BeerDroid is temperature controlled and allows you to set your own custom brew settings. You are able to select your yeast propagation temperature, brewing temperature and kegging temperature. This system allows you to easily brew true lagers or funky saisions and anything in between. If you are not sure what settings to use the BeerDroid has pre-programmed Ale and Lager programs. When you are brewing with a BrewPrint and using the BrewArt app it will automatic download the brewing profile specific for that recipe to your BeerDroid.

Wi-Fi Connected

The BeerDroid is Wi-Fi connected so your brewing progress and history is stored in the BrewArt Cloud. This allows the BrewArt team to help assist you if you have any issues with your brew or to tell you when something has gone wrong. This will also keep a record of your brewing history in the BrewArt app and during power outages the BeerDroid will keep your brewing progress stored and pick up right where it left off when the power come back.

Monitor your Brewing Progress

Using the free BrewArt app you will be able to monitor the status of your brewing progress through the brewing stages. The app will send you push notifications when your brew has reached a new stage in the brewing process.

End of Fermentation Technology

The BeerDroid features patented End of Fermentation Technology or EOF. With this technology the BeerDoid will be able to detect the exact moment your brew has finished fermenting. Once your beer is done you will receive a notification through the BrewArt app and the display on the BeerDroid will display brewing complete.

Automatic Storage Mode

Once your beer has completed the fermentation process it will need to be kegged. If you are traveling or not able to keg your beer when it is done you can put the BeerDroid into a storage mode through the BrewArt app. This will cool the temperature of the beer to prevent off flavors from letting your beer sit for too long. If you are unable to put your brew into storage mode the BeerDroid will automatically put it in storage mode after 48 hours.

Customize Your Own Recipe

With the BrewArt system you can customize your own recipe using the BrewArt ingredients, including BrewArt’s range of Dry Hops. You can also brew in the BeerDroid using your own ingredients; you can brew all grain recipes, partial mash recipes, or any other beer brewing style you can think of. Answer:	You need a proper regulator ON the tank to step down the pressure. The little regulator on the growler head is very light duty.

Answer:	It probably would if you cut the tubing a little bit longer and made sure that it was laying at the bottom of the keg when you place it in the refrigerator.

Answer:	The kit comes with everything but bottles. Although you won't need them for the first few weeks. Other items needed are a large cooking pot with lid, stirring utensils, and scissors. Have fun brewing!!!
