Answer:	I have had no problem with squeezing and releasing these scoops. I am elderly, have, perhaps, lost some hand strength, but have no problem with the scoop and the 10-to 15 dozen cookies I bake each week. If you can tee of with a golf club, serve with a tennis racket. open most jars, you should have no issues with these scoops. I would suggest you grease the scoop prior to your baking.

Question:	Did anyone s scoops have a funny metal smell when wet? Tossed mine in the wash water, came back to wash them and they had that smell.Thanks in advance
Answer:	Interesting question. I think it would work fine but i would rinse it in water when the bourbon balls get sticky. This is a quality kitchen tool so should work fine.

Answer:	One scoop is smaller that the other. The larger scoop is smaller than a tablespoon...hope that helps. :)
Question:	does anyone have trouble with the scoops skipping gears
Answer:	The one I bought did have a sharp edge which is a necessity for cutting melon balls but my unit was tossed into the garbage because the stem connecting the scoop to the handle was thin and bent with each scoop, in other words a real piece of crap from China. I would suggest you instead buy in-house at Target or Best Buy and Beyond for a quality product. Amazon should remove this item from their inventory.

Answer:	The big end is the size of 1 teaspoon. The smaller end I think is about the size of 1/2 teaspoon (I don't have a round 1/2 teaspoon to compare, but it is bigger than a 1/4 teaspoon).
