Answer:	It is a decent size, about 4 cups. The bottom of the collection bin has useful rubber feet that keep the bin from sliding while using the blades and cutters.

Answer:	The 4 blade can quarter a medium to small whole vegetable. The current new one does not come with that blade. I recommend you quarter your item with a regular knife before you use the chopper or grader. I don't recommend putting a whole piece on blade and trying to chop. Quarter item first.

Answer:	This is the 8 way slicer so it maybe the newer version I am not sure. They also have a 4 way slicer too.

Answer:	I haven't done sweet potatoes. For white potatoes, most are too long to fit under the lid. If you cut them in half, you can cut them using either of the dicing blades. But for me, the large dice makes very big fries, and the small dice also makes a weird size - smaller than most fries.

Answer:	Every vegetable I've put in has cut perfectly. I have cut tomatoes, celery, carrots, bell peppers, onions, and cucumbers. The only trick is to know whether to put the skin up or down. In most cases, especially tomatoes, it should be up. But in some cases, like celery, the skin (ribs) should be down. Do NOT use it to cut cheese (trust me on this). It has been a dream for making salads and salsas and soups, and it's easy to clean with the little brush they include.
Question:	Is it strong enough to chop sweet potatoes? Everything I've tried for them ends up bending or breaking
Answer:	Yes. Cut them into thick slices or chunks small enough to sit on the chopping grate. I've found a smallish sweet potato cut into 4 chunks works fine. You'll have to apply more pressure to chop, but I am a wuss and it wasn't a struggle for me. Also, these blades haven't shown any propensity to bending; this is very well built. Because boiling a potato (as suggested below) vs roasting is no way to live

Answer:	Yes it does when peeling larger items with flatter surfaces such as watermelons. I've had to actually cut mine off because it was in the way. Smaller more curved items you should have no problems though.

Answer:	I received a 3-pk in July 2019. It still has 'Swiss Made' stamped on the back of each peeler, but on the package (a piece of paper that bonds 3 peelers together with a cable tie) it says 'Made in China'. My old package from last year had the same paper but with word 'Made in Switzerland'.

Answer:	I cut the vegetables to fit the grid, they will push through without having to exert too much pressure.I am 63 years old, can use it well.

Answer:	There are 2 answers: I had the chopper out: tried lettuce and red cabbage. Lettuce, no and by the time you cut both lettuce and cabbage up, you would have it chopped. But for tomatoes, peppers, onions, celery, jicama, radishes...Fantastic and saves so much prep time. Hope this helps.

Answer:	It will chop anything that will fit on the dicer and will slice anything that will fit into the slicer. I have sliced beets with it...so yes.

Answer:	I mostly use it for cheese but I have sliced onions in it and i liked the way they came out. they were individual piecies not the crappy mush some "choppers" leave you with.

Answer:	It does a really good job. I used it to make a small batch of cashew cheese. It minced the nuts easily then when I added the other ingredients it pureed well despite only being a small batch

Answer:	A key function of any food processor is to make purees. The Hamilton Beach 12 cup, turns out a very very coarse paste and purees. No matter how long you process the puree, it will not develop past a certain point. If you need the processor for vegetable prepping, it works as expected.

Answer:	Yes, dishwasher safe on top rack only.

Answer:	Yes, dopes a good job of chopping nuts, can vary the fineness of the chop with number of rotations of handle. Only thing I have found is if you want to chop something like meat, chicken for salad etc. it's way too difficult to hold the machine and turn the knob.
Question:	Is the crank hard to turn? Thinking of someone with arthritic hands
Answer:	If you reduce the amount you place in the chopper, it is much easier. If I struggle, I turn the crank forward and backwards. This has become my favorite chopping tool.

Question:	I manually prep/chop ~14 cups lettuce at a time into ~1/2" wide pieces. Looking for a quicker method. Would this or some other product work well
Answer:	I don't think so... I think this would shred lettuce and turn it into a mush mess. Maybe if you did one or two pulls... But you wouldn't be able to do much at a time. Especially not 14 cups
Question:	How many cups is the capacity
Answer:	It will chop a large onion beautifully. I cut the onion into 8 chunks and then start pulling. The more pulls the finer the onion is chopped. The container will hold about 3 cups but I haven't tried more than 1 cup at a time.

Pico de Gallo

3 roma tomatoes, diced

1/4 red onion, minced

1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro

1/4 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced

1/4 lime, juiced

1/2 clove garlic, minced

1/2 pinch garlic powder

1/2 pinch ground cumin

Salt and ground pepper

Place all in VeggiChop, pull to chop. Enjoy!
