Answer:	-Yes-that's what I bought them for. wear it on the beach and love the look and fit.

Answer:	Ian,The brim isn't wide enough to provide shade for your neck, it's mostly to protect your face from the sun.
Question:	are these slip on? Do yo have to tie them
Answer:	I have both sizes. The smaller brim is 2 1/4" and the larger is 3 1/4" (before the part where the brim curls up.). Larger brim will give you more coverage from the sun and I think is just a little bit cuter, but I love both of mine!

Answer:	Once you wash it, it will never have the same body and stiffness to the hat again. If you do decide to wash it use cold water and set it on a homemade hat form to dry so it doesn’t shrink or come out completely unusable. I stuff a plastic bag with packing paper and then pack it into the hat as tightly as possible and next place the hat on a flat surface so the brim stretched out and supported while drying.

Answer:	The best way to choose a size is to get a measuring tape and measure the circumference of your head. You want the hat to fit nicely but not too tight.

Question:	Do these have the Primaloft like the track 25m
Answer:	It's not rain-proof as if it were waxed, but I have worn it in the rain several times without visible damage. I did have a similar hat that I wore through an ongoing downpour (long story), and it was a little bedraggled but held its shape pretty well. I like the hat a lot. The brim isn't too wide or too narrow, and it looks good whether I'm wearing jeans and a flannel shirt or a suit and tie.
Question:	Do ecco track 25 shoes/boots tend to pronate, supinate or neutral
Answer:	You can shape it. This is especially helpful after you've laid the hat down for a period of time and the brim was bent at an angle you don't like.

GORE-TEX

HYDROMAX

HYDROMAX is a treatment developed by ECCO to make our leather highly water repellent. It helps preventing the leather from hardening as it dries, keeping the hide supple, durable and breathable – even after repeated water contact.

YAK Leather

The yak thrives in extreme conditions of the Tibetan Plateau. Characteristics that protect yaks from warm summers and cold winters in the mountains results in an exceptional multi-season leather. The aged, rugged appearance is emphasized by strong markings and natural characteristics, which are highly visible. Yak leather is robust and abrasion resistant yet breathable, with a soft hand feel and excellent stretch and return traits.

GORE-TEX SURROUND Technology

A special selection of Hiking & Walking styles utilize the ground breaking GORE-TEX SURROUND waterproof construction, for increased breathability around the entire foot; not just the top.

Direct Injection Production with ECCO FLUIDFORM Technology

Developed by ECCO over many years, the FLUIDFORM Direct-injection process is a technology that enables us to create ergonomically advanced soles. By injecting a resilient, shock-absorbent material directly into the shoe mold, we bond the sole to the upper without glue or stitching. The result is a sole that fits naturally, and a light yet cushioned step.

TPU Outsoles

Some ECCO outdoor styles feature a Thermoplastic (TPU) outsole for increased wear on urban surfaces. The TPU outsole material is nearly 5x more durable than typical rubber outsoles giving them unparalleled long term durability.
