Answer:	Yes I have made a smoothie with it. You would need to add enough liquid to cover all of the solids included and not fill it too full. I absolutely love mine. I made a cheesecake with it and topped it with fresh strawberries and the red gel used in making strawberry pie. We added a shortcake crust and called it a strawberry shortcake pie. Question:	How do i contact latent epicure if i have a problem with the grinders
Answer:	Did you solved it? Mine also have it's blue light always on. If you put it on operational position it starts grinding and the lights still on. Positioning it upright and the grinding stops but the lights still on.

Answer:	I believe so. But they are very easy to use. You remove the bottoms to fill. Just about a half turn and they open easily. Batteries are in the top part and that is just a quick twist to open as well. Adjusting the coarseness is done at the very tip by turning clockwise for finer grind

Answer:	The plastic support ring is just to hold the metal grinder mechanism and spring in place and does not move. The salt and pepper grains, prior to grinding, do flow through the support ring. The mechanism used is very common and does not affect the salt and pepper grinding process.

Answer:	This factors In the pricing of Tupperwares $14.95 shipping costs. If you were to look up TupperQueer the price would be cheaper by ordering that way. Otherwise it's the exact same item. Tupperwares direct ordering will charge you sales tax but via a rep like me I can waive the sales tax.

Answer:	I’m not sure about the pull cord but my wife called tupperware customer service to ask about replacement blades for this item and they said that parts was available through a Tupperware sales person. They gave her a name and number for a local sales person and the part number for the blade. I would figure the top assembly could be purchased the same way.
