Question:	What is this grinder made out of I only want glass and not the poisons in plastic or acrylic
Answer:	Based on the photos and description, they are not the button type. The description calls out an overmolded hook on the strap ends. I have 2 sets of the Hawk Helium sticks, as well as 2 sets of Rangers. They all have the overmolded hooks on cam buckle straps. They work well. The only reason to have buttons is for the rope mod. If you are not doing that, the standard attachment is fine.

Answer:	BB, this Grind Gourmet Original Pump & Grind mills is made out of a food-grade acrylic. We are sorry this can not be made of glass as the grinding mechanism would easily break. We do offer this mill in a high quality stainless steel with and without a food-grade small less than 1/2" viewing window if you prefer. Note only the Grind Gourmet Originals offer a solid stainless steel cylinder the copies are made of plastic with a metal sleeve to cover the plastic inner cylinder. We hope this helps!

Answer:	DKB changed the manufacturing process for the markings on the mill many years ago so all mills in the marketplace should be updated with the etched version. Please note that the updated laser etched markings look similar to the old printed version, this was just a processing change which made the markings much more durable. Answer:	The pepper mill hasn't leaked at all. I had to check the salt grinder - I couldn't see anything on my lightish granite counters, but I could feel a little bit of very fine salt "dust" - not enough to worry about.

Indeed this happened to me as well. Probably caused by too tight tightening by the factory. Once I have released it it never happened again. Just keep trying to unscrew it using cloth ot rubber glove to tighten the grip. Try to turn it both ways and you can also try to tap it gently with some blunt instrument, like the handle of a knife or spoon. If this all fails, try putting it in the freezer for half an hour and then try again.

Answer:	Well, there is a serious downside if you do that. If you have both the salt and the pepper ill you will notice the grinding mechanism is either steel or ceramic. The SALT version is ceramic. The pepper version is steel. Steel will corrode when it's exposed to to salt. So if you use your pepper mill for salt grinding you will wreck your grinder.

Answer:	I can tell you I'm here to replace my Magnum grinder with this one based on reviews because the Magnum after time has uneven pepper grind quality. I've had two of them in town and country for nearly ten years and am going to be glad to be rid of them.
