I can't see there being any instances where you might not have a little residue at the tip, but it should be minimal once you get used to your pour and you've positioned the spout properly. However, if there seems to be excessive leaking I would contact the seller or Amazon.

Question:	Is it difficult to fill with oil? Do you have to tip it while trying to fill from another bottle
Answer:	It is not hard to fill, and I buy the large plastic bottles of Olive oil. You do have to tip it in order to fill it. The one difficulty is that you cannot see the level of the oil inside, so go slow.

Question:	Do you have issues with dripping or pouring fast
Answer:	I don't have any problem with it pouring too fast, and as far as dripping, when I'm done pouring, I slowly lift it up and roll it back (almost like when you pour wine) to catch the drip. It's worked great. I really like it.
