Answer:	You have to do it in two separate steps, because the pounds and kilos are listed separately.. For example, I weigh about 175 lbs. So first I move the large slider to the 150lb groove and then the small slider to 25lbs. In order to get my weight in kilos I move the large slider to the 60kg groove and then the small slider to 19kgs. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Dear Connie: The scale is 20" deep and the base is approximately 10.5 inches wide. We have been quite happy with it and use it daily. However, I must say that it generally is two-three pounds in my favor when compared to the scale at my doctor's office, or the one in front of the local grocery market. Of course, I am fully clothed then!

Answer:	I have not, but my brother has done some reloading. I use this scale for baking (and I'm satisfied with it for that)--got it about a year ago--and from my experience with it, I would not recommend it for reloading. Answer:	I have reloaded for about 30 years. I like beam scales more than electronic ones. The good beam scales do come with cases, but I use mine enough I hardly ever put it in there. Reloading allows you to tailor the ammo to the use and firearm and does so with much less expense than factory rounds. I hope you enjoy it, I find it relaxing, just follow the recipe in a good loading manual. be careful with online data.

You may have problems with larger cases but with a simple mod to the pan there shouldnt be any problems

1.When using the balance, it should be placed on the flat workbench

2.Move the rider to the “0” point on the left end of the ruler: the pointer should be aligned with the center line of the header to obtain balance. Otherwise, the balance nut on the lever should be turned to adjust the balance

3.After the balance is adjusted, place the object to be weighed in the left tray, use tweezers to add weight from large to small in the right tray, try to put the item and weight in the center of the tray, when the weight is increased or decreased to the minimum mass, the weight is still unbalanced, the rider can be balanced.The mass of the object is equal to the sum of the mass of the weight and the mass of the rider.

Answer:	No but as it is a mechanical beam scale it doesn't go out of calibration unless damaged. It just needs to be leveled with an empty pan to zero before use and when it's moved. These are much more reliable than any electronic scale under $500.
