Answer:	I just received the 1000g version. The product description shows the calibration procedure as requiring a 1000g weight. Upon opening the scale and reading the provided directions...it says it will require three 100g weights(!)...each one placed individually as indicated on the scale. It calibrates the 100, then 200 and finally 300 grams. So a $13 scale is really more like $30. More if you already purchased a 1000g weight...as advertised...in preparation of your purchase.

Answer:	The answers below are correct. It displays lbs in decimals. What wasn't shared was how helpful this product is. It has always matched the weigh in at the counter within 3 decimals. It can be trusted. My wife and I are off to Cuba. We are only allowed a total of 44 lbs that includes the carry on. So far we have each suitcase weighing in at 26 and 28 lbs respectively. I'll use up the remaining lbs with a few more items in the suitcase and dedicating the camera, cam cord, chargers, convertor and adaptors, ad travel paperwork (all heavier items relatively) to the carry on. For this trip, I will depend on and trust the Camry Electronic Luggage Scale as I have for my last 3 trips to South Africa, Egypt, and Patagonia. It kept me safely underweight each time. Answer:	To set the 3-Dial TSA Combination Lock, 1.) Dial should be on 0,0,0. 2.) Slide release button towards dial to confirm lock will release 3.) Use a pointy object and insert into reset button, do not hold it in 4.) Set the dial to desired number ie. 1,2,3 5.) Push release button towards the dials to confirm code is set. If set correctly the reset button should click and release 6.) Test combination code by turning the dials to numbers other than preferred number, then push release buttons. (dials should not release) 7.) Use your preferred number then push release button to verify code is set. Button should release. 8.) Insert zipper tabs into slots while preferred number is displayed, tabs should release.

Answer:	Yes,Every digital gram scale was calibrated thousands of times before they came from factory.If you don't have weights,you can also put one dollar bill on the scale,1 dollar bill equals to 1 gram exactly,if the scale reads 1 gram,the scale is calibrated accurately.

Answer:	I bought a set of calibration weights about 5 bucks. For what we paid for the scale it needs to be calibrated every once in a while to make sure you don't short change yourself..
Question:	does it good for travel
Answer:	This happens on lots of devices with similar battery packets. All I can say is, keep trying. Make sure your fingers (thumb especially) are dry and without lotion. Push down with your thumb and at the same time back to slide open the door. It will open.

Answer:	Do not listen to BetterBasics, this ZIP300 scale is calabrated with a 300g weight. I screwed up my scale, and now have to deal with an annoying return because I listened to this person.
Question:	Will this weigh down to 1/2 gram for Sliver
Answer:	This model, the ZIP600, requires a 500 gram calibration weight. The ZIP300 requires a 100 gram calibration weight.
Question:	The Fuzion 1000 says to calibrate with appropriate weights. None seems to have come with them. Are they sold separately
Answer:	OK, this is not a laboratory instrument. I mean, it's only 10 or 12 bucks isn't it? That said, I am happy with the scale. I bought the 300g calibrating weight..absolutely necessary IMO, and calibrate it before every use...more often if you are weighing multiple items as the accuracy on my scale seems to drop off after 25 - 30 pieces. So, for what it is , calibrated often, I'm happy with the accuracy. There, I didn't a word about your typing accuracy....woops

Answer:	The calibration of the scales is being performed at the factory. However, theweighing range can slightly shift during the shipping. Or due to changes in localacceleration of gravity around the world, adjustment is recommended whenmoving the scale from one location to another. To check calibration:1. Turn the scale ON2. Wait until the LCD displays "0.0", then press and HOLD MODE key for 3-5seconds, the LCD will display "CAL", then release the MODE key.3. Press MODE key gain, the display will flash "CAL" followed by the requiredcalibration weight.4. Add the 500 gram calibration weight on the center of the platform, after a fewseconds, the display will show "PASS". Calibration is complete!
