Question:	Does it also go negative? For example, if I have a bowl with food in it and tare it, then remove some of the food, does it show a negative number
Answer:	I also needed to know if it would go negative 😊. The reason we use the negative measurements is this: if I am making a recipe, and I need to add 20 grams of honey, rather than messing up a measuring cup, you put the open honey jar (you don't want to include cap weight) on the scale and tare or "zero" it. Then, pick up the honey, put in about what you think is about 65% of your desired weight. Then put the honey jar back on the scale. The amount it shows in a negative number is the number of units (for me, usually grams) that you added to your recipe. Repeat pouring in until the scale registers as a negative number what you were looking to add (in this example, at the end it would say -20g).
Question:	Why are you using horribly faked superimposed photos of food? It throws off the scale of the product
Answer:	That's for "scale" (it's small: you put food on it, not people). Yes, these are definitely photoshopped, which is common here on Amazon. Answer:	"Schrodinger's cat" LOL! Patricia, I use my scale to weigh my parrot. i just have to get him to hold still for a second which I do by holding an almond in front of him. Cats usually momentary freeze when they see something interesting to them as well. Alternatively, you could make an odd sound, like a distressed mouse squeak. Your cat will probably freeze at that in order to determine where the noise is coming from. Let the cat play in the box before you put it on the scale so she/he will be used to being in it.

Answer:	I wish scales didn't have this--it's really just grams, changing the "gm" to "ml." Many kitchen liquids are around 1 g/ml, so it's not too far off for them. Oils are around 0.9 g/ml, so a reading of "10 ml" would actually be 10 gram, or about 11 ml. But honey is dense--about 1.4 g/ml. A reading of "10 ml" would actually be 7 grams.
Question:	can I put a bowl on it, zero it, then weigh only the contents of the bowl, not the bowl itself
Answer:	Yes, absolutely. You can put a bowl on it. Tun it on and it will start with zero. Then, you can weight your contents.

Question:	Is the tare function easy to use
Answer:	The scale has auto shut off function. It won't use battery in this mode. Or you can take out the battery, if you don't use it for a long time.

Answer:	At first I stood the regular way on the scale but you are right--it is hard to balance that way--especially since I am tall and have long feet! So then I started weighing the other way (horizontal). You do cover up the wt. window, but I found that if I step off quickly and then look at the window, the weight will stay in the window for a few seconds so you can see it. I found that by doing it this way, I got a more accurate wt. reading.

Answer:	I tried to weight it on my digital scale and it didn't work. Weighed my self with and without it and it was 2.2 lbs.

Answer:	Do not listen to BetterBasics, this ZIP300 scale is calabrated with a 300g weight. I screwed up my scale, and now have to deal with an annoying return because I listened to this person.
Question:	Will this weigh down to 1/2 gram for Sliver
Answer:	This model, the ZIP600, requires a 500 gram calibration weight. The ZIP300 requires a 100 gram calibration weight.
Question:	The Fuzion 1000 says to calibrate with appropriate weights. None seems to have come with them. Are they sold separately
Answer:	OK, this is not a laboratory instrument. I mean, it's only 10 or 12 bucks isn't it? That said, I am happy with the scale. I bought the 300g calibrating weight..absolutely necessary IMO, and calibrate it before every use...more often if you are weighing multiple items as the accuracy on my scale seems to drop off after 25 - 30 pieces. So, for what it is , calibrated often, I'm happy with the accuracy. There, I didn't a word about your typing accuracy....woops
Question:	Description says it will go to .01g. How about ounces, will it weigh .01 ounces
Answer:	The calibration of the scales is being performed at the factory. However, theweighing range can slightly shift during the shipping. Or due to changes in localacceleration of gravity around the world, adjustment is recommended whenmoving the scale from one location to another. To check calibration:1. Turn the scale ON2. Wait until the LCD displays "0.0", then press and HOLD MODE key for 3-5seconds, the LCD will display "CAL", then release the MODE key.3. Press MODE key gain, the display will flash "CAL" followed by the requiredcalibration weight.4. Add the 500 gram calibration weight on the center of the platform, after a fewseconds, the display will show "PASS". Calibration is complete!

Question:	Does it weigh in tenths of a carat or do I need to convert from grams
Answer:	Place a sheet of paper/wax paper on the little pan before use. I encountered this problem when weighing out my nutritional supplement powders. Balance a small square pane of glass or acrylic panel on top of the pan provided and place your sample on top. Anything that sticks can be scraped off and recovered using a razor blade.
Question:	Does the usb cable just charge the battery? or does it send the weight data? if it sends the data, what is the format

Question:	Will it weigh a pill
Answer:	Yes, but although the scale reads to milligrams, it's accuracy as listed in the manual is only .020g, or a tenth of a carat either way.
Question:	Can i use this for my cbd flowers
Answer:	I've had problems as well. When turned on and left to warm up it usually sets to "0". When I add reactants to the scale it doesn't move, then suddenly jumps to .006, then .007, then back to 0. It stays at 0 even when I add a little more. When put on the high priced scale it reads over .010, so this isn't good for anything small, certainly not a ",001g" scale. The other suggestion that one would use the 10g test weight, with the pan and then add the reactant doesn't work either (I didn't expect it to). This doesn't work as told.
