Answer:	The original Question-Asker no longer needs an answer; but other readers may. Adding a basket on the front is not a problem. Bear in mind, however, that this trike steers by turning the handle bar, not by leaning, as with a bicycle. A heavy load in the front basket could make steering awkward.

Installation is very easy and just takes a few minutes.1;The magnet is mounted onto two spokes on the front wheel - using the built-in thumb screw. 2;The transmitter mounts to the front fork next to the magnet - it's attached to the front fork by two supplied wire ties. 3;The receiver clamps onto the handle bar using two supplied wire ties. To neaten it up, I trimmed off the excess wire tie ends using a wire cutter. Answer:	Thel slices are 3/16 inches or 5 mm in width. Perfect for potato salad, lasagna filling, etc. Slices in lasagna or wedged slices in salads.

It will go through it but the wires aren't a heavy gauge and strains them a bit much you still have to cut off the stem just seems easier to cut with a knife. The first wire set that cuts through is the star pattern if it was the straight line pattern it may be worth it for strawberries.

Answer:	I just bought this slicer last week because the wires on Good Cook slicer I have used for many years have gotten stretched and catch on the plastic. As you suspected food does get mashed down into the base and so it doesn't slice all the way through. Since the bottom mashes it's a mess if you try and finish slicing through. I tried it on eggs and strawberries with the same results. If I can find my receipt I am taking it back for a refund.

Answer:	It is easy to pull. I would not call it a string it is a cord and very sturdy. I hold top of chopper when I pull the cord. I never once thought about cord breaking. I use chopper all the time!

Answer:	Not a plug in appliance. Does not take up much space for storage. Easier to clean and best of all you can control the size of what you are chopping with each pull of hand powered cord.

Answer:	I have no clue about purchasing blades. The ones that came with the chopper are so sharp and haven't lost their ability to chop. You will have to contact Customer Service at Chef'n VeggiChop for an answer about blades. Sorry.
Question:	what is the capacity---2, 3, 4 cups
Answer:	The product info says "Capacity 3.8 cups (900 ML)"; however, some things you may not wish to "pack down". I find the chopping works better if you don't try to stuff the cup too densely which allows the food to enter the blades better without larger pieces getting stuck between the blades. I usually only fill to cover the blades and about 1 inch below the top (a little less than 3c) for what I consider to be "best" results, considering I do alot of veggies for salads and stews.

Answer:	There is a little scoop that is 1/4 teaspoon. The jar is 10 ounces. I looked it up and 6 teaspoons are in 1 ounce (dose is 1/4 teaspoon). So best guess is approximately 240 doses per 10 ounce jar.

Answer:	Yes it does when peeling larger items with flatter surfaces such as watermelons. I've had to actually cut mine off because it was in the way. Smaller more curved items you should have no problems though.

Answer:	I received a 3-pk in July 2019. It still has 'Swiss Made' stamped on the back of each peeler, but on the package (a piece of paper that bonds 3 peelers together with a cable tie) it says 'Made in China'. My old package from last year had the same paper but with word 'Made in Switzerland'.
