Answer:	The model I purchased 12/2020 that has white and green plastic does not have a reservoir where water could hide. It came out of the d/w bone dry and didn’t drip.

Answer:	The entire wok is stainless steel except the outer bottom casing that houses the electrical heating element, so, stainless steel is all that touches the food. I use this wok about 4 times a week... love it.

Question:	Would this work to get the juice out of Pomegranates
Answer:	I don't think it'd be good for pomegranates. It will get juice out but the smallest holes are too big and some seeds will come through (partially). This works better with softer things like cooked potato. When I make mashed potato, I mix with carrots and the cooked carrots don't come through as easily as cooked potatoes.
Question:	Will this work for me if i am obese
Answer:	What difference does it make if you are obese or super skinny? A better question would be to ask how can I lose weight? Obesity puts a tremendous strain on your body, overall health, our health care system and your quality of life. I hope that you find the courage and desire to be a healthy new you.
Question:	Can this be used for German Spätzle
Answer:	I have not made spatzle with this but the largest hole size disc should be fine for making it. The biggest problem is control of the tool. Until you get used to how it moves when applying pressure, your dough may not be as perfect as you would like it but should be fine once you get the hang of it. I would offer as advice that you spray the surfaces of the press and disc when starting and between batches because the disc likes to stick as you lift the plunger out to refill it.

Answer:	The black barrel of the OXO Good Grips Potato Masher is a type of very sturdy plastic...same for the depressor.
Question:	Can it be used to strain frozen spinach, or will the spinach be pushed through the holes with the water
Answer:	No. Even the smallest grid setting would allow cauliflower or tofu to go through, but you could place cheese cloth in the hopper then add the thing you want to squeeze excess water out of.
Question:	Can you crush Garlic in this
Answer:	I'm not sure...i had to move on to another because it cracked at the lever point...id recommend trying to find a good all steel or other metal one
Question:	Do you have to peel the potatoes first
Answer:	You must first grate your potatoes with a grater. This is not designed to squeeze raw vegetables through to get perfectly formed shreds. Ideally, place the grated potatoes in a colander and rinse, or place in a bowl of water, and rinse. This is done to remove the starch. I use this ricer to squeeze the excess moisture from the potatoes, though you could just as easily use a tea or dish towel, which provides similar results. Any of the settings will work in order to squeeze the moisture out.

Answer:	About 3 cups MAXIMUM useable space, meaning that full to the brim it holds OVER 3 cups (I measured with dry noodles). It's probably most effective at "ricing" when full of no more than 2 1/2 to 2 3/4 C, or excess might squeeze out the sides/top. But I've used it as a "press" loosely packed to the brim
