Answer:	Probably It holds up well in the indoor gas logs. It may rust outdoors though.
Question:	I replaced the fake logs in my gas fp with tumbled lava rock. if i use this under/around the rocks will it make the flames more yellow
Answer:	I don't think think so. After my gas fireplace has been started, the wool begins to glow, similar to burning embers. It does not change the color of the flame.
Question:	Can this be used in an outdoor open fire pit that will get wet when it rains
Answer:	No, this product is for indoor sealed gas fireplaces only. It would blow away in the wind, and fall apart with the rain beating down on it.
Question:	One of the product pictures shows the wool covering up the entire bottom of the fireplace - even over the flame holes it appears. Is that correct
Answer:	It looks like it actually sits in front of the gas line for the flames. But it does ignite and the colors are really pretty. One bag was more than enough. peace
