Answer:	My best guess is that they are from China, but they are excellent and a good buy. Amazon also carries the Miui spatlula from France which i also bought. It's a bit lighter and more flexible, also excellent. Cook's Illustrated gave it their highest rating. Either way you can't go wrong!

Answer:	Mine crosses over one time once in awhile but never ties in knots. Yours must be going in circles too much. I'd take it back to where you bought it. Or a repair shop like "Leslies Polls Supplies" may be able to repair it so it goes more straight.
