Answer:	Thank you for your interest in our Calphalon products. Yes, it does. As long as the lid holes are not aligned with the spouts of the pan. You may rotate the portion of the strainer lids as it would trap steam and water.

Answer:	The lids have a cushion on them to prevent them from getting hot. I never was aware of the handles becoming hot. A wonderful product.

How to Cook with Nonstick?

- Never use cooking spray. Aerosol cooking spray leaves a gummy residue that is difficult to remove, and that residue will cause food to stick. Instead, use an oil mister filled with olive or vegetable oil, or dab a bit of oil on a paper towel and carefully wipe the interior of the pan.

- Use the correct heat setting. Use low heat for warming, simmering and preparing sauces; use medium heat for frying, grilling, sauteing, searing or stir-frying; use high heat for boiling or reducing liquids.

- Preheat the pan. Nonstick cookware can take a minute or two longer to preheat compared to aluminum or stainless steel cookware. For best results, make sure your nonstick pan is heated to the proper temperature before adding food.

Answer:	This is the finest mesh product we carry, and it is likely to be a good fit for what you need it for. However, we have not used it specifically for that purpose, and therefore can't guarantee any results.
Question:	will they effectively strain pasta and support the weight of the noodles
Answer:	I use it to strain eggs for custard, it would work for the soups too or any fine type of pureed food, but I don't think it would be the best for hard coarse type of food since you'll end up with the clear juice, I would go for apple sauce or any bigger particles of food with a fine mesh or Chinois
Question:	Is the edge sealed well? I always have the problem of my quinoa or other small grain getting stuck in the edges

Answer:	I am not sure if it NSF certified, but most likely not. It is 100% Solid Stainless Steel and works very well. I keep mine in the garage and it has never shown any signs of rust or descoloring. If you have to have one that is NSF certified you may want to go to a restaurant supply store and pay ten times as much.

Answer:	Love that answer” not marked” yes it’s not marked but its plastic bag says in big letters “ made in China,” had I known this would not have ordered however its well made beyond it’s made in China signature!
