I purchased a PowerLix can opener from Amazon and it is dishwasher safe and I have had it in the dishwasher several times. Look at this can opener if you want to put it in the dishwasher.

Answer:	I have tried to open cans of several sizes and they can be opened without problems.
Question:	Is the magnet meant to work while you're opening the can? How? Or do you have to rotate the opener after the lid's detached so the magnet can lift it

Answer:	The electric can opener can only be cleaned with a damp towel. Do no wash it under the water or with any other liquid. Also, kindly do not clean in a dishwasher.

Answer:	The unit only needs to be pushed downward from the top which will allow the unit slide open. If you still have trouble, then turn the unit around and try again. Mine has no problem in doing that to open.

Answer:	On this model no, it doesn’t look like it anyways. But they had a smaller one that had a different design on the top with like 4-6 watch spots and then an empty area next to it. This one has 12 watch spots and a draw for bands and cuff links. It does hold large watches. But I would say no the compartments do not come out.

Answer:	We use ours about 10-12 times a month. We changed the batteries twice in a year. I would consider changing battery brands. Mine works great, on a large can like veg-all we let it run around twice to make sure it cuts the lid completely. Ours is about two years old and works great. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I do not own an iPad mini to confirm or deny this but going by what the dimensions are of the iPad mini vs the nexus 7 that I use this sleeve for, I would say the iPad Mini is too wide to fit into this sleeve.

Answer:	I have the sleeve and the Kindle Fire. The inside dimensions are 8 5/8"L (sleeve open) x 4 3/4"W x 1/4"H. If the end is closed (velcro fastening) the usable inside length is about 7 3/8". The Kindle Fire does fit snugly.
