Answer:	The lid sits on the ice cube tray, i can’t get it to snap on, but for me that’s not a problem....then the ice cube tray sits in a groove in the bin, I am finding it user friendly for the 2 or 3 of us in the household.

Answer:	Ok - the product description says it is made out of polypropylene. Upon further research (using Quora), it says, “anything that isn't a polycarbonate won't contain a bisphenol residue. Thus, polypropylene is certifiably BPA-free (and free of other bisphenols as well) and could have carried that label decades before anyone thought BPA might be problematic.” Mind you I’m going by the manufacturer’s description of the product as solely containing polypropylene - I don’t have the means to test it to see if they are lying. The spectrophotometer photo filter on my iPhone is notoriously wonky. ;)
