Answer:	Yes, and you will have excess folded over the top of the wastebasket. When you go to change the bags all you have to do is pull them out, tie them off and put them in the garage. If you don't want the excess go with a smaller size. These work well with my 11 inch deep waste- baskets.

Answer:	I use these bags when I clean the litter box so they’re quit sturdy for that. It’s not a thin plastic but not as thick as normal trash bags. Use these bags for lining wastebasket, for food scraps, cat litter. I have also used these to store apples, oranges, tomatoes. Very versatile.
