I use the mat to dry out washed wine glasses and never really get too much water on the mat so draining is generally not a big problem. If you're asking does the mat dry off by itself, no. If there is some moisture on it I just shake it off in the sink and lay it back down. |

I also looked on my university's research network and found very little on Sodium Lauryl Sulfoacetate.
