Question:	Is the fermenter's lid supposed to come with a gasket? I just received mine and it did not have one and when I put the lid on to rinse it it leaked
Answer:	It's not supposed to seal. The top of the keg has notches in it to allow it to breathe during the fermentation process. This is why it must be carbonated in the bottles 
Question:	What the percentage of alcohol in the beer? and how can we control it
Answer:	The sugar content and the potential of the yeast determine the potential alcohol percentage. Beyond that, my husband is the brew-meister. I know he's made some that approached 15-16%.
Question:	Can you make the brew start to finish with everything included in this kit? or are there numerous items you must also buy to make the beer? if so what
Answer:	Aimee,You can make a brew from start to finish. In fact, you make 2 with this kit. However, I would gather $10 or so and get a hydrometer to measure specific gravity before and after fermentation to verify alcohol content and if fermentation is complete. You don't have to because this kit includes "Hopped Extract" which means that you don't need to add any Hops to your brew, they did it for you. It is completely ready to go and the results should be the same every time you make a batch. They take all the science out of the process by pre-hopping the extract. Last note: My friends love the Aztec and Bohemian extracts that came with my kit. I have now moved onto All-Grain brewing with the occasional non-hopped extract brew.Good book to read is "How to brew" by Palmer. Hope that helps!
Question:	What is the difference of the premium gold edition from the brewmasters edition? Besides the hat, glasses, and the shirt that won't fit
Answer:	The brewmasters kit comes with craft beer refills and the premium gold comes with standard beer refills. Craft beers are more like your microbrew beers, and standard beers would be more like your Miller, and Coors beers. The craft beers cost a little more. If you go to the Mr. beer website they will have more details. If you are just wanting to see if you are interested in the process of making your own beer I would go with the cheaper premium gold edition if you don't want the extra stuff, then if you like making your own beer you can order the craft refills. Question:	Does it come with the ingredients to make it
Answer:	They are very small,2x2 inches approx. We have a small Maltese 7.5 pounds. He was getting through our rod iron fence so we zip tied the Tenex fence to the rod iron fence, works perfect. We used wire cutters for a custom fit. This is a strong material but if you are using it alone with out a strong fence behind it, I believe your very large dogs could chew through it if they wanted to get out. We love it.

Answer:	Crimping handles are 6 inches long. You will be able to crimp 22-10 AWG terminals with one hand.

Question:	Am I confused? 10 beers for $40? Is it that much better than a premium store bought beer
Answer:	Yes...maybe. If you plan on using commercial kegs from breweries, then this is not what you want. This will only work with "corny" kegs, often used by homebrewers, but even then, there are two styles of connection to the keg; this is the ball-lock style.
Question:	Does this kit include everything needed to brew, and if not, what else do I need to purchase with it? It would be a gift. Thanks
Answer:	Absolutely that is what I have and it snaps right on.
Question:	does this kit come with a brew bag for steeping the grains
Answer:	My kit came with a tank that had a Kegco decal on it. The regulator was made by TapRite. None of the other pieces have brand names on them. I ultimately upgraged the 5lb tank to a 15lb tank so I wouldn't have to get it filled as often. The 15lb tank did not have a decal on it. Both of the tanks were brand new and in excellent condition. I would assume that Kegco does not make any of these components, they just assemble them together from different manufacturers. I know some people in the ratings section complained of not getting a tank w/ a Kegco sticker on it, but I don't really see what difference that makes in the long run. Again, both tanks were brand new, and in excellent condition, as was the regulator. I was pleased!
Question:	Are there any alternatives to using individual beer bottles? Can I put the fermented liquid in a growler or something larger

Answer:	I think the box is somewhat discrete, usually we make our packages discrete as discretion and privacy are a top concern. If you emphasize the importance of this it helps also but it is generally a common concern for many customers. Ie. Not only from the surprise point of view but they do not want others to stick their nose in their business and personal matters, etc..

Answer:	I would assume so the ball openings are about the same
Question:	What are the dimensions of the fermenter Itself? Trying to see if it will fit in my fermentation chamber
Answer:	About 22" tall (with Krausen Collar), ~19.5" without. The lid is domed and has "wing handles" that make it about 15.5" wide, and ~ 14.5" wide the other way. The FV itself is slightly tapered to about 13" at the bottom. The spigot, when installed, does not extend past the diameter of the lid. If you have a 16"x16"x22" space inside your fermentation chamber, it should fit fine since there is no bubbler/airlock at the top. Question:	What volume gradations are marked on the fermenter? Just a line at 6 US gallons
Answer:	The fermentation vessel's volume is actually marked in liters. It starts at 3 liter and goes up to 27 liter. There is one mark for each liter.
