Answer:	SATA is a hard drive. However, I only know because I googled it. I bought the machine because I needed a CD duplicator. I record the Sunday Sermon and make copies for the members who desire one. I'm not an expert on the equipment. I only know that this machine copies fast and well. Answer:	The plastic is not specifically labeled “microwave safe” and there are metal components, so I would not risk heating this press in the microwave. It is better to heat your water in an electric kettle or on the stove top. Answer:	I do like this teapot and think it is cute. It does only really hold 3 1/2 cups of water or else the tea will come out the spout. The insulation factor is a stretch. If 2 people are drinking the tea than it's almost gone and you need to make another pot anyway. You might want a tea cozy if you will have it sitting a long time. If the room is cold it's going to cool down quicker. It was adequate for me. There is no plastic at the bottom of the infuser. There is a silicone o-ring at the edge where the top meets the pot; other than that, it is all glass and stainless steel. Hope this helps you.
