Answer:	My 14 and 18 year old went hiking in these at Red River Gorge in KY in like 75 degree weather and said they weren't bad. If it were hotter I don't think they would be a good choice as they don't breath at all. They also don't have rubber soles as the description says and were very bad for walking on the large rocks there.

Answer:	Based on the assembly instruction, when fasten the seat on the movable bar, there are two positions you can choose, one is for people from 5'1" to 5'6", and another one is for people from 5'7" to 6'3". Let's call them low setting and high setting. Once you installed the seat on to the bar, and finished the whole machine, there is no easy adjustment between low setting and high setting. Please see my review for a picture of the instruction page that printed the two settings. For those who are struggling with the heights, maybe you just need to reattach the seat to a different position.
