Answer:	These mugs really do hold 21oz to the very top of the mug. I bought the set to be able to have a large mug of tea and love them. Use them everyday. If you don't like having a 16oz+ of tea or coffee would recommend getting a smaller size.

Was casually strolling through WallyWorld (Walmart) the other day and saw a different brand that looked exactly like it, so I snagged a bowl. Got home, bowl matches perfectly minus the sticker on the bottom. The full set and all individual pieces were there.
