Answer:	Yes, they can be machine wash or hand wash, but better hand wash. Just rinse it by water and hang up to dry.

Answer:	It does absorb the condesation but I have noticed it being soaked. These are great coasters and I don't think you will be disappointed!

Answer:	You don't need to wash the base, maybe wipe it if it gets dirty. Depending on how much I use them, I like to rinse the inserts off by hand and let dry before re-using them. Because they are absorbent, I find that it keeps odors and eventual gunk at bay.

Answer:	The bottoms of these are flat, very little water ends up staying on the cup after running in the dishwasher. But you have to have "heat dry" on. I also reccomend using a rinse aid to prevent water spots on them.

Answer:	Yes. The plastic is hard and sturdy. With proper tools it can be engraved.

Answer:	I would say 12 ounces
Question:	The long drink glass says it holds 18.3 oz but it is quite smaller than the tumbler that holds 12.1 oz. Is there a typo here
Answer:	I don’t. They are unbreakable but they are plastic. They don’t get cloudy if you hand wash them. I just have never tried the dishwasher. So can’t really answer your question fully.
Question:	Is the picture accurate for the full size whiskey glass? Because I think it's wrong and is in fact showing the picture for the 10 ounce whiskey glass
Answer:	Signature is on the base. However, I have a few of these glasses bought at different times. Some are signed and some are not. Same with the Chardonnay glasses.

Answer:	Yes! Absolutely. The name Schott Zwiesel is very lightly etched on the bottom of the glass. I understand why others might think that they are not etched - the etching is almost imperceptible, but it's definitely there.
