Answer:	I am so disappointed with this mirror. It kept falling over till it finally broke. I would like to return it and get a refund. I bought this product for my granddaughters for Christmas. 1.Clean the surface you want to install the mirror with water or soap to avoid any grime. (Note: dry wall, wall papers, stucco, or any textured walls are not applicable).

2.Ensure the suction mechanism is unlocked by turning it in a counter clockwise.

3.Press the suction cup firmly to ensure a tight seal.

4. Turn the suction mechanism clockwise to lock the mirror on to the place.

5.Turn on the on or off button to start makeup.

Question:	Why would amazon put "professional installation" on this product page when all you need do is secure it by the suction cup to a smooth surface
Answer:	No idea! A "professional" would have to travel to your home to affix the suction cup to your mirror. How ridiculous! I installed mine 2 months ago, I use it daily, and the suction cup holds just fine.

Answer:	You are not close enough to the mirror. Any magnification mirror must be close to the subject before the image is in clear and in focus. You should then see your skin surface more clearly, pores, eye lashes, etc. for applying makeup, inserting/removing contacts, etc. Also, you can't change the magnification of a mirror. It was manufactured that way. You would have to buy a mirror with a lesser level of magnification.
