Answer:	I hand-wash my coffee cups to preserve their exterior pattern, so I just throw in the Scotch glasses with the cups. I haven't tried running them through the dishwasher, but if you put a good rinse aid in the dishwasher I don't see why they wouldn't come out fine. There's no exterior pattern to be destroyed by harsh dishwashing soap.

Answer:	It depends on how old they are before they ship. The quite large bag contents can be quite hard due probably to the possibility that people don't often order them and they sit somewhere in a warehouse for a long period of time. It really doesn't make them any fresher to wait or not. If you get them early, just make they aren't exposed to air and they should be fine. I would however only order them in small bags and/or go to a specialty shop and get them as needed. Walker's British Toffees should be very soft and creamy. They are not intended to be hard and chewy like Kraft Caramels in the U.S.
