Answer:	These mugs are copper plated stainless steel mug. It is highly recommended to hand wash to keep the plating surface perfect. Using dishwasher may speed up the wearing of the copper plating surface due to the severe detergent reaction.
Question:	The handles look like they may not be comfortable if your thumb gets in the top corner. Other mugs have an evenly rounded handle. Any problem
Answer:	I never really noticed the handles feeling awkward. However, the copper plating wears away really quickly and we only hand wash them. I do not know if this is common with the stainless steel interior/copper exterior. Obviously, this could definitely occur on completely copper plated cups as well.

Answer:	ok, its not the "pod" but the place to put the disposable pods (with the sharp needle to punch the bottom) is removable. when you do that your universal will fit in the hole where it went. it doesn't feel like I tight fit but that seems to be how to do it. It is not intuitive and there should be directions on how to do this _someplace_ since it feels like you are disassembling part of the machine to make it work.

Answer:	I am not familiar with a Tervis tumbler. I have a large mug that holds 15oz & is 4 1/2 " tall that fits under this machine with room to spare without removing the overflow base. Hope that helps.

Answer:	I had this happen to 2 Keurig's over the years. Keurig replaced the first one as it was under warranty but the 2nd one was not.Was a mechanic for 35 years and learned on fuel lines and radiator hoses that the hoses get stiff over age at the connect point's and may start leaking where they clamp. so when this started on my second Keurig I removed the bottom plate and found a pump that had clear hoses connected to it using slip wire ties as clamps.I see that these hoses where leaking where they slide on to the nipples of the pump. This would be a common find on a auto because of the constant heat of the motor or in this case because of the heat of the heating element in the keurig . The ends of the tubs where stiff where they connected to the nipples on the pump but the rest of the hose was flexible and soft as it should be.I trimmed back the the ends of the hoses at the nipple connect points about 1/2 inch and re installed them with new slip lock wire ties. Did not have any leaks after that. Hope this was helpful to all.you can get the same hose and wire slip ties at any hardware store just take your old ones to match up should you just want to replace them instead.Should also note that I leave my Keurig on most the time so the constant heat may contribute to this also.KEURIG is still in my book the best brewer out there.

Answer:	One cup did have black spots. It was just the leftover polishing material. I washed it out and a little was still in the mug. I then cleaned it with Wrights copper cream according to the directions and it was all shiny and clean.

Answer:	Mikayla, it is both on the inside and the outside but it can be very easily scrubbed off, if desired. The reason it is both on inside and outside is because some people prefer to not use without a lacquer coating in order to maintain the shine.
