Answer:	Yes. Knives have left marks on the plates, mainly when used to cut food. And spoons have left some marks on the bowls if you use them to scrape food off the walls. Most of the marks become less obvious after being washed. Because of the texture and spots of the paint most of the marks actually look like they belong.

Answer:	The link below is to a sheet that fits pretty well. It's not perfect because the sheet is for a rectangular bassinet but this bassinet pad is a little rounded. I think it works great. I use a waterproof pad between the bassinet pad and the sheet. My little guy goes a lot and we have had a lot of leaks trying to find a diaper that works. These are a lesser quality, lighter and the finish isn't always even, but it's a nice starter set or for use when you need many place settings at a reasonable price. If needed, I would buy these again. :D
