Answer:	I caught a 22 pound flathead catfish with my rod in one of these. Definitely still use your drag so the fish can pull line, but they will definitely keep the rods secure.

Answer:	Probably not, I would not put that much load on it. I doubt the bearing would last very long with that load. I have about 50 lbs on mine.

Answer:	The French press mug will fit up to 15 ounces but most people will fill to the first line that holds a little over 12 ounces. It’s designed for travel and people on the go so fits nicely into most all cup holders.

Answer:	The plunger does not lock in place. It can be lifted up and down with the handle/knob on top. However, the plunger does not readily move up and down without force. The lid screws on, so in essence the plunger itself does as well, though you can move it at any time. This is the best coffee mug/French press that I have ever owned,, and I cannot recommend it enough!
