Answer:	I would say no, but it has a slick surface that is easy to spot clean when needed. I use mine for grocery shopping and just use a cleaning wipe inside & out when necessary.

Answer:	This MAY work for the IP- 6Qt, but does not fully fit the IP- 8QT - which is exactly what I bought this for and was hoping it would. I can get the 8 QT into the case easily, and zip the top only a bit on one side. I cant fully close the lid with the zipper, but I could still use the case for transport if I leave the lid unzipped, and use the straps to carry it. It doesn't look perfect but it does the job. Since the 6 qt is slightly smaller you may have better luck, or live with the lid not fully closed as I do. Its time for the IP company to have these made for their pressure cookers.
