Answer:	I just received my fourth order of these toothpicks, and they are marked "Made in PRC". In other words, they are now made in China. The first three orders all were made in Israel. Over time, each order of the Israeli toothpicks seemed to be of poorer quality - frequently thin, and easily broken in half while in use, and the tips would break easily. (But still drastically better than the toothpicks you'd buy at the local supermarket.) When I noticed the change from Israel to China, I tried a couple (admittedly not a large sample!) and they reminded me of the original quality from the first Israeli toothpicks. When I start using them regularly (I haven't used all the last order yet) I'll post a review if there's an issue. By the way it's easy to tell the difference between the old and new product - the old toothpicks had a red wrapping, while the Chinese toothpicks are in blue.
