Answer:	Yes, they have a serration on the top of the knife. It is not a "steak" knife though.
Question:	How long are the knives, in inches? And are they heavy
Answer:	The knives are heavy enough to feel sturdy. I can't give actual weight, but they don't feel cheap/flimsy. They easily cut meat without any "give" or bending. They are smaller than the large knives with wooden handles provided by some steakhouses. The total length including handle is just over 9 inches and the blade is about 4.5 inches. The serrated part is about 2.5 inches The widest part of the blade is about 3/4 inch.
