Answer:	Yes, you can poach just one or two eggs at a time. Make sure you keep the empty cups in their space so you don’t get extra steam over the eggs you are cooking. The extra moisture will make a bad egg. By the way, this is the best poacher I have ever used...Enjoy!
Question:	Has anyone used this on induction cook plate? If so, can you share info on temperature settings, about how long to cook, etc. would really appreciate
Answer:	I have only had mine for a short time, however the non stick coating is made of a quality material and if you hand wash them after each use I believe they should last for quite some time. I do spray a little Pam on mine before using. The eggs slide very easy either way.

Answer:	I did not get instructions but I found them on line. You Just fill the pan with an inch of water then place the egg poacher on the pan. Fill the cups with up to 4 eggs and place the lid on it and keep the water boiling until the desired cooking time of your eggs (about ) five minutes and you are done. I do recommend lightly spaying or wiping the cups with olive oil to ease the eggs from the cups after cooking. I hope this helps.

Answer:	Just be careful, hold it back somewhere in the middle and don't do any abrupt movements - my husband broke one hinge this way :( So make sure you are opening it smoothly. But good news - it still serves perfectly even with one hinge! That's why this poacher is really great.

Answer:	No, I am still trying as other people seem to. I have tried 40 seconds (egg white still runny), 45 seconds yolk hard. The frustrating is that it seems to leave the white runny long after the yolk starts to go hard!
Question:	My 2-egg poacher arrived without any instructions whatsoever. How long do I cook, at what power level, & do I flip the poacher during cooking
Answer:	Crack 1 egg into each cup of the egg poacher base. Pierce each egg yolk with a fork, ( I just poke each yolk with the tip of a sharp knife Once each). Add 1/2 tsp of water to each cup . (Add water to empty cup if only cooking 1 egg. 1 egg cooks for 30-45 sec, For 2 eggs cook for 45-60 seconds . Cooking time varies based on different microwaves and your cooked preference. Let the eggs stand for 30 seconds before removing to allow eggs to finish cooking. I love my egg poacher. I serve them on buttered english muffins.

Answer:	I'm not sure--you could order it and read the package or check with a local cooking store and see if they have one and ask them. Good luck!
Question:	Is the material this product is made out of nontoxic? Sound like a dumb question? It isn't
Answer:	I can't tell if it's non-toxic, but I can tell you that the coating is not Teflon. It feels like an enamel. No matter how I oiled this egg poacher, the eggs always stuck to it. I tried "seasoning" it by oiling it and keeping it at low temperature for an hour or so. The eggs still stock. Getting them out of the pan always made a mess. I finally donated it to one of the local charitable organizations (which might not have been very charitable of me!)
Question:	What is the height of this item when it is sitting on a flat surface
Answer:	The actual pan is about 1 inch tall, and has a handle in the middle that is about a inch tall, so total 2 inches. It's meant to sit in a pan of water and the boiling water is what poaches the eggs. I even recommend spraying the pan with Pam cooking spray, makes it easier just to wipe clean. I bought 2 and one is great at the egg not sticking without Pam cooking spray, while the other the eggs would stick if I didn't use Pam cooking spray, Overall I still like them.

Answer:	I always make sure that the water level is high enough to contact the botton 1/4" of each cup.
Question:	Is this dishwasher safe and rustproof
Answer:	I have never put it in the dishwasher, so I don't know. But it is excellent quality and I love it! Well worth the money.
Question:	How often do you burn your fingers while trying to take out the cups ??? Or do you have to use gloves
Answer:	Easy......I use a spoon to lift the metal loop and use the "Ove-Glove" Eggs slide right out (I use a touch of butter in each cup!).
Question:	How long should I cook the eggs for
Answer:	The cooking time on the eggs depends on how you like your eggs. I prefer mine in an 'easy' state. Runny yolks, mostly white with little or no translucent surrounding. For that I bring the water to a slow boil, put the eggs in the cups and cook for 4 1/2 minutes. My ex liked hers cooked for 6 minutes so the yolk was mostly solid and absolutely no jiggle from the white.

Question:	can you use this product in a rice cooker
Answer:	I was going to ask the same question on this product. To answer others question why...to cook both the rice and the eggs at the same time (boiled not poached). I'm hoping I can use it in a pan while cooking my mexican rice.
Question:	What size instant pot will this work with
Answer:	It will work with the 6 and 8 quart Instant Pot. The diameter on the poaching rack is 7.25 inches.
Question:	Will the metal on this poacher rack will harm the non-stick of the pot or pan I put it in
Answer:	The metal legs don't move when you put it in the pan so I wouldn't think it would scratch as long as you are careful. The edges are of the rack are smooth. I use it in a regular pan so I can't say for certain.
Question:	While steaming is there an Accumulation of water in the egg cup
Answer:	I have not had any accumulation, except when I lift the lid, and hold it at a tilt over an egg, and water drips down the lid, which, by the way it says not to do in the instructions. When you lift your lid, hold it level until you get it away from the cooking pot. It should only take four or five tries to get this technique down.

Answer:	I did not like this poacher because the egg poached while sitting in water. Each egg compartment is filled with water and the egg is cracked into the water-filled compartment. It’s very messy when the poacher “blows up” while poaches. I don’t use the Systema poacher. I finally just bought a Teflon coated four compartment tray that fit a pan that I already had. Hope this helps

Question:	I have an induction stove, which I understand won't work with this poacher. Could I use the insert in another, induction-friendly skillet
Answer:	non-magnetic stainless steel won't work on induction top and I'm not sure what is inside the pan
Question:	To where should I fill the water
Answer:	I cannot remember, but it said on the box to use like 3 cups of water or so. What I do is I place the egg poachers in the pan and fill the water level until they start to float, then pour a tiny bit out until the poachers no longer float (as they are seated on the metal instead) Make sense? It's better to use too much water than not enough, because it protects your pan. Obviously, the more water you have in there though, the longer it will take it to boil. Probably what we SHOULD do is measure out the correct amount of water and then etch the pan with a line of our own..... I hope this answers your question. If not let me know.
Question:	Can someone please address whether the egg cups are large enough for jumbo size eggs. I don't want the contents spilling over onto the cup holder
Answer:	I have not tried jumbo eggs, but think they might spill over the cup holders as extra-large eggs "just fit".
Question:	Is any part of this poacher non-stick
Answer:	This is a stainless steel item, not non-stick by definition. You don't want a non-stick pan or poacher cups due to the non-stick chemicals that will erode over time and get in your food.

Answer:	I don't know what an instant pot is. What I do is put a few inches of water in a small frying pan, bring it to a boil, set the poacher with the eggs in pan with boiling water, cover and simmer for 2-4 minutes. Perfect eggs, I love it!

Answer:	Regarding steaming hamburgers, I'm not positive and the burgers would have to be small. As long as the meat was lean it would probably work. It is awesome for poaching eggs! Good luck.

Answer:	Put about 1/2 inch of water in pan. Crack egg in cup. When water boils, put cup in pan and cover. Boil for 3 minutes. Your egg is finished.
