Answer:	I had a set of 8" & 10" pans I used for about a year before my daughter adopted them and took them to live in her NYC apartment...maaany roommates, and three years later, those pans are still doing well. Meanwhile, my new / replacement 8" & 10" pans have also been performing well for nearly three years. I also like the "I Love Meat & Poultry" pan, although neither of us cook meat. Our pans are all used to cook eggs and veggies, mostly in coconut oil, sometimes butter and (very rarely) olive oil. We both use baking soda to renew the cooking surface, occasionally, as needed. They've served us well on gas and electric stoves, hot plates and glass cooktops. LOVE these pans so much! We each recently bought the 12" pan with lid. We're GreenPan fans!!!

Answer:	I have not used my pan yet, but was told there is no toxicity.

Answer:	As long as the handle removed there should be no issues using in a counter top oven. If you want to use it with the handle on then do not exceed 400 degrees F.

Answer:	It depends on what is considered "Very Hot"... as long as you are below 400 degrees Fahrenheit there should be no issues snapping the handle back on. All you would need to do is to pull back the release button, tilt at a 30 degree angle, slide the handle on and then release the button.
Question:	I need to replace my ultimate pan but not the lid. Is the stir-fry pan the same as the ultimate pan, just without the lid

How to Cook with Nonstick?

- Never use cooking spray. Aerosol cooking spray leaves a gummy residue that is difficult to remove, and that residue will cause food to stick. Instead, use an oil mister filled with olive or vegetable oil, or dab a bit of oil on a paper towel and carefully wipe the interior of the pan.

- Use the correct heat setting. Use low heat for warming, simmering and preparing sauces; use medium heat for frying, grilling, sauteing, searing or stir-frying; use high heat for boiling or reducing liquids.

- Preheat the pan. Nonstick cookware can take a minute or two longer to preheat compared to aluminum or stainless steel cookware. For best results, make sure your nonstick pan is heated to the proper temperature before adding food.

Answer:	I just got this pan in the mail today. I am returning it because this pan is NOT 12" in diameter. It is 10 inches.

Answer:	I got referred this because I have the Cuisinart GG-12 set, which is the ceramic coated non-stick version. The ceramic coating does not permit odors to develop as it is impervious.For the teflon/polymer coatings you could try wiping the surfaces down with hydrogen peroxide. If there is decaying food stuck in the surface coating the peroxide will oxidize and destroy the foreign material. If the odor is due to over heating - and usually you can tell because the surface becomes powdery, you are out of luck - all you can do is toss the pan because if you continue to cook with it you will be eating the coating.If you are considering a new set, I cannot rate the ceramic coated pots high enough. My daughter forgot to soak the pot she made mac & cheese in, and I found it the next morning after it had dried. When I pulled out the wooden spoon that had dried in the sauce, the entire coating on the pot came off in one piece. Clean-up turned out to be wiping it down with a soapy sponge and rinsing.

Answer:	Yes, the coating is a ceramic and is free of heavy metals such as cadmium.I've had my set for a year now and except for the nuisance of not being dishwasher safe, they are quite nice. Dried Mac & Cheese wipes right off.If you need a set that is dishwasher safe, I recommend the Henkle Zwilling Spirit cookware. I have the 10 piece set, plus a couple of extra skillets and pots. It is dishwasher safe.

Answer:	Yes, this product is Teflon free, I checked when I bought it as a gift. The way to can tell is that is says that it is "PTFE/PFOA-free" and, according to Wikipedia: "Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is a synthetic fluoropolymer of tetrafluoroethylene that has numerous applications. The best known brand name of PTFE is Teflon by DuPont Co." Hope this helps.
