Answer:	It would depend on how much water you put in the pot... the basket sits 1" from the bottom of the pot with the feet fully extended. So if you add 2" of water the basket is submersed 1"...Hope that helps...

Answer:	While I simply rinsed it under water, the product worked great. My husband washed it in the dishwasher the other day and now the steamer insert is rusty. I’d say great product, just be sure to rinse under water immediately after using.

Answer:	If it's been around 60 days you should consider replacing the filter. The pH Strips can give you a good idea as well. The screen on top is helpful, but it's not always perfect. The best way is to use the pH Strips. The filters will last 30-90 days depending how often you use them. It can filter up to 90 gallons of water before needing to be replaced. Answer:	I have the 6 quart as well as 3 quart Instant Pots. These baskets are too wide for the 3 quart. The mesh basket will fit in but the rim sits on the rim of the inner pot so the pot lid will not engage.

Answer:	I have several and wash them on top rack of the dishwasher all the time. I’d say “dishwasher safe” is the true statement.

Answer:	No likely not, but it might come close. You can take out the middle handle to increase space - and the degree to which it opens will depend on the size of your pot. If open all the way and the center removed you can probably cram at least 3 cups in there.

Answer:	This type, I would say yes. The plastic model, maybe not because of the very high heat. Far better, is us use a bamboo steamer sized to fit you PC.

Answer:	I do love this steamer and use it often cooking eggs or spinach in both instant pot and regular stovetop cooking - it's been great! I think it would be a bit wobbley - those silicon feet seem to collapse to my thinking. But it cannot hurt to try it out- give it a try - Will the springform pan fit on it? Will it jiggle too much? Can you get it in & out with liquid in it without spilling? Making a double sling (like a cross ) with foil might be safer.

Answer:	Yes you can. Just be aware that this absorbs the odor or smell from the food you cook in it. I sent mine back as it smelled like cumin and basil and no matter what I did I could not eliminate the odors.
