Then place the closed basket in a pot with half a cm of water - for this purpose the basket has a 1 cm high heel. Preparation in bamboo steamer

The use of our bamboo steamer is very simple

Take off the lid and line the bottom with the supplied thin cotton cloth. You can also use salad or banana leaves!
Now place your food of choice on top and close the lid.
Place the closed basket in a pot or saucepan with approximately an inch of water - the basket has an extra heel on the bottom for this purpose. Now the pot only needs to be placed on the heated stove.

When the food is done, lift the lid and serve the basket with its contents - enjoy!

When cooking meat, fish or vegetables, we recommend either coating the steam base with oil or cooking the food on lettuce leaves.

Important: Always make sure that there is enough water in the pot!
