Answer:	I beleive the metels are from China,but at this point just about everything is made in China,this product at one time was made here in the states,but like everything else most of our products are from China,thanks to all our great corporations that don't make enough money here they sent most of it to China, Mexico and were ever else they can get something made for such cheap labor,but all in all it did turn out to be so far a pretty good product,I would recomend it,it still has a very good name ,Farberware has been around a very long time,we still have a few pots from 30 years ago that are still working for us,my wife refuses to get rid of them,so at this point the price was right,the product is good,I say go for it.

Answer:	The copper coating has chipped off after four uses but it is stainless underneath and still works fine. It's just not nice to look at. It's pretty frustrating for the price we paid.

Answer:	I originally didn't use any oil like this other answerer and after a year I am having to replace our large pan because the ceramic surface has worn off the bottom and food gets burnt to it very easily (which requires scrubbing and therefore deteriorates the pan further). I will definitely be repurchasing but I will be sure to use some form of oil to prolong the life a little more. Also we use only silicone utensils in it to prevent any sort of scratching. Ceramic pans I have learned are pretty similar to iron cookware in that they do have to be kept conditioned, even thought they are originally slippery.

Answer:	Oven safe up to 350 degrees. So only at lower temp. The handles will probably melt if you use it at 400 degrees or broil.

Answer:	No! These pans have an abrasive coating on the bottom of the pans which will instantly mar your nice glass/ceramic stove top with fine scratches. Yes, they will "work" on your stove, but over time, you will begin to see the scratches building up and may wonder where the scratches came from. I tested one pan on my ceramic top (after I opened the package and noticed the sandpaper like design on the bottom) and I now have a ring of fine scratches on my stove. I promptly repackaged the set and sent it back. Very disappointing and concerning.

Answer:	NO, they do NOT. Don't listen to clowns making snarky statements. Both lids SINK into each of the fry pans, they do not sit ON TOP Of any frypan! There are NO LIDS for these fry pans in this set and I just ordered it, August 2020. Additionally, the lids slide around and don't sit well even in the pots! this causes excess steam to come out the side instead of the little hole. I feel completely ripped off by this inferior set made who knows where that maybe at one time was more quality, but I am sorry I even purchased this. It's now 27% less $ just a few weeks after I bought it, so maybe they know something isn't right too, but it's too late for me, I got gypped.

Answer:	I have a set of Revere Ware stainless steel, made in Clinton, Illinois and Rome, New York that I purchased in the 70's. I then got some new-fangled, non-stick Teflon. Until it scratched. I learned it then leaks chemicals into my food so I got some stuff that says I can use metal and scrubbies on it. Until it scratched. Chemical leakage again, so I started using more of my USA-made cast iron, seasoned them well, used steel wool (no soap) to clean off stuck-on food, and I got the bonus of added iron in my food. Listening to commercials, I then bought a GREEN frying pan that's guaranteed not to stick. It's ok but did stick and got scratched. Probably chemicals in my food again, as well as a white pan I bought. So I started using my Revere Ware stainless; I don't use soap on the inside unless I absolutely need to, I can soak them, use steel wool, scrape with a metal spatula, use Easy-Off if I really burn stuff on, and it's as good as new! Food rarely sticks and I use little oil to coat the bottom unless a recipe says 1/4 or 1/2 inch or so. I say buy a good brand of stainless with handles that are welded or riveted on, and you'll have them to hand down to your grandkids! I'm 70 and got these when I was 23! They have copper clad bottoms for... I don't know why! I think heat distribution. P.S. I remember they were $89 for 12" & 8" pans, 1-1/2, 2, & 4 qt sauce pans, the larger having a steamer (never knew you put veges in that!) and lids for all. I have picked up oddball pieces in thrift stores, too! Go clean, go stainless!

Question:	Are the skillets non-stick
Answer:	They're not the "non-stick" like Teflon. In fact, when I first got them, I was afraid they'd be difficult to clean. Not so! Hardly anything sticks. If it does (I still haven't mastered making omelets in the frying pans), a quick soak in soapy water followed by a good hand washing cleans them right up! I'd take these over the more "traditional" non-stick any day. No worries about chemicals leaching out of a treated surface into the food since it's simply metal. Hope this helps!
Question:	I see that they sell the 10 in pan separately along with a lid. Does one of the pot lids from the set fit the 10 in pan
Answer:	The set, came with 3 sauce pans with lids, 2 fry pans and a Dutch oven with a lid. The largest lid fits the Dutch oven but does NOT fit the larger fry pan. Because of the flare of the sides of the fry pan, the inside diameter is 10-1/4" while the straight-sided Dutch oven inside diameter is 9-1/2". I hope this helps you.

Answer:	I do believe that the non bonded parts of All-Clad are made in China. Not 100% certain, since I bought my cookware over 5 years ago, but that is what I hear now.

Answer:	Yes, there is a very small strip on the edge (2 mm or so), which is simply the layer of aluminum between the layers of steel. Even though All-Clad states these are dishwasher safe, we always recommend hand washing your better quality knives and cookware.Chefs Corner Store

Answer:	the consensus answer I have found online is that copper core is NOT worth paying extra for. the all clad line with best temperature performance is actually the MC2, but the regular, 3 layer sandwich of SS around aluminum is the all-around winner because it is versatile (i.e. induction capable) and dishwasher safe, unlike MC2. started searching because I was contemplating purchase of a calphalon accucore set that was "deal of the day". learned the most at centurylife.org in an article about "is all-clad worth it". the answer was yes for the d3 all-clad but not for copper core.

Answer:	In all of my research before purchasing my All-Clad I have not come across the use of 304 or 316 surgical stainless, only 18/10. The Tri-ply cookware line that I have purchased (from Amazon and elsewhere) features a 3-ply design, 18/10 steel cooking surfaces, aluminum cores for the even heating, and the highly polished exterior 18/0 stainless for lasting beauty and induction compatibility.
