Answer:	Click on xxxx customer reviews next to star numbers. Underneath you will see "Read reviews that mention" and choose "seasoning". Plenty of reviews mentioning that item.
Question:	What is the non stick material? I hope it is not unhealty teflon
Answer:	The glossy surface is actually what you want. That is easier to make nonstick with polymerized oil. Metal bluing is a process that makes the steel less likely to rust. Kind of the same idea as the bees wax coating in the mineral B line. After a few uses it makes little to no difference since you’re really cooking on the surface of the polymerized oil, not on the steel. The mineral line is raw steel, and the red rust that occurs before you get it seasoned is Fe2O3, while the black oxide in this line is Fe3O2 on the surface. (I don’t know, but I suspect, they use heat rather than chemicals to cause the transformation. Doing it in an oven on a manufacturing scale makes economic sense that you couldn’t get if you were making one pan at a time.)
Question:	Does this pan have a pfoe or ptfe coating
Answer:	The blue steel is a carbon steel that actually turned ebony black after conditioning on my electric stove top, a process which was very quick and easy. Depending on which Internet "expert" (everybody with an opinion!) you consult, there are varying amounts of carbon in the metal. As far as I can tell carbon steel presents no health risks and has been used to manufacture woks throughout Asia for centuries. I believe that .this very popular crepe pan is healthier than many others because since it has been seasoned I have had to use very little peanut oil or butter to prepare foods which are prone to sticking. I normally just wipe on either one with a folded paper towel to leave a very fine film and a couple of times I even forgot to oil the pan no sticking was minimal. I warm the pan on medium , then wipe on the oil, then lower the heat to medium low to cook. I trust this pan made in France as much as I would trust Lodge cast iron made in the USA as far as faith in the purity of the metal.
Question:	Does this pan have a good weight so that it sits flat on the stove top without the weight of the handle making it tip
Answer:	Absolutely! I love my pan. It doesn't begin to have the weight of cast iron. I do, however, even though I have seasoned the pan... use Pam before making crepes. I just wish it was larger.

Cooking with cast iron

Enameled cast iron is a remarkable and robust material that performs well with modern requirements for food preparation and cooking. Whether you choose to stir-fry, slow-cook a casserole, sear a steak or bake a cake, there is a shape that is suitable. Cast iron performs well for either slow cooking or high-temperature searing.

Cast iron can be used reliably on any heat source, including induction, and with any oven or grill. It has the ability to retain heat efficiently, which allows for use of lower heat settings in stovetop and oven cooking. On the table, a hot covered dish will keep food hot for second servings.

Cast iron can also be used to keep foods cold. A chilled dish becomes an ideal cold food server on a hot summer day. It can also be placed in the freezer for food storage or advanced food preparation.

Heat recommendations

Le Creuset cast iron cookware can be used on all heat sources including gas, electric solid plate or radiant ring, vitro-ceramic glass, induction, and ovens fired by gas, oil, coal or wood. When using any glass-topped stove, always lift the pan when moving it; never slide it, as this may damage the stovetop or the base of the pan.

Always match the pan’s base size to the stovetop heat zone to maximize efficiency, and to prevent overheating of the pan sides or damage to the handles.

Gas flames must always be confined to the base area, and must never extend around the sidewalls of the pan. Long handles should be positioned safely where they do not hang over the front of the stove or other heat zones.

Cleaning and Care

Always cool a hot pan for a few minutes before washing.

Do not plunge a hot pan into cold water. While Le Creuset’s enamel is designed to be the most durable on the market, thermal shock may still occur, resulting in cracking or loss of enamel.

If there are food residues, fill the pan with warm water and let soak for 15 to 20 minutes before washing. A brush can be useful for removing small food deposits, or for cleaning between the ribs on grills. Do not use scourers or abrasive cleaners on the cooking surface. Nylon or soft abrasive pads or brushes can be used to remove stubborn residues. To avoid damaging the enamel, do not use metallic pads or harsh abrasive cleaning agents.

Light stains or metal marks caused by metal tools can be removed with Le Creuset cookware cleaner. An occasional cleaning with this product will also retain the new appearance of your pans. Never store pans while they are still damp. Store pans in a dry cupboard or airy space away from steam.

How can I remove a glue spot on the pan

Answer:

I just rec'd mine with a cardboard enclosure that has info of 'dos and don'ts.' Mainly to use low to medium heat, and not to use spray oils bc of residue, use butter or oil. For crepes, it is suggested to oil a paper towel and use that to apply to surface of pan for a light coating. They say you can use metal utensils to flip, but not to cut directly into the pan, so that's common sense. To clean, obviously, don't use abrasive pads. The handle has silicone on it, it says it's safe up to 400 degrees in oven. I haven't used it yet but I will in a few days.

Question:	Does the nonstick coating have teflon or other chemicals? What is the coating made of
Answer:	In regard to its weight, this is a very light pan. Please DO NOT BUY IT. This is not a good pan, because it scratches easily and there is a sticker (has the brand name on it) was placed in the middle of the pan and when you remove it .. the adhasive or the glue (was placed underneath the sticker you had to remove) is very difficult to clean. So if you remove the sticker, you wll always have a spot (glue) in middle of your pan. And if this is so, how can you cook or fry anything in it?

Question:	How high is the lip on the pan? Could I use it to fry something in a half inch of oil
Answer:	Lip is about one half inch and rounded. I would never use this pan with more than a coating of oil. Using more could cause a spill and fire.
Question:	I like to make small personal pizzas, will this work instead of the 14" pizza pan which is too big
Answer:	It is excellent for this purpose, but you should also consider the Lodge pizza griddle. I preheat to 500, insert my pizza on a pizza screen and then slide off onto the cast iron after 4-5 minutes. I lightly oil the screen but not the pan. The 14" griddle is a terrific pan for many purposes, and it retains higher heat even if you're only using a small part of the surface. Some people use it as a "pizza stone." I use both these pans very frequently.
Question:	Does this pan work on an induction stove
Answer:	It works.... but you've got to really watch it ... The cast Iron ware I use (1 vintage wagner bought at a yard sale, and 2 new lodge products) gets too hot and in turn heats the induction plate so high it turns off... I have a salton portable cook top from costco (similar to ASIN:B00FAD57SC Salton Induction Cooker Energy efficiency 300W-1800W, 140F-465F)
