Answer:	3 feet from plug to mouse fully extended . I stock the Silver and dark gray as shown in picture, Targus mistakenly have 2 different mouse with same model number which caused a ton of confusion on which model people wanted and got.We also have the all silver contour in stock , since these are new but in Bulk package not in retail package Amazon guidelines are to be listed as " USED " . Answer:	I don't have the mouse anymore, but by looking at the picture, it's a USB mouse, so there's probably no battery. Your best bet is to replace that mouse with a Logitec mini wireless mouse. I just bought one and it's great. I've had it two weeks, and the AAA battery hasn't even died yet, and I use this mouse 8 hours a day, 5 days a week.
